Topic: Call of Duty Ghosts DLC

1. Do you guys care about it or want it?
2. Do you think it is coming to the Wii U?

Personally I love playing COD on my Wii U and it would be awesome if the DLC is coming. The new extinction map is beyond awesome....I need something to hold me until Smash bros, Monolith X and Bayonetta....

I don't have the game, I don't think the DLC is coming to Wii U but I wish it did. I have debated about getting Ghost because of the extinction mode

I would have liked to have gotten DLC, but I'm pretty sure the ship has sailed on that one.

As far as I know, we are not going to get the DLC, but I would have really liked the Extinction DLC at least...

As far as I'm concerned, CoD has been dead since launch. It was just a matter of time to realize.

I bought the CoD games and thought Actision would deliver. They said DLC would be there, but then retracted the statement after the fact that they sold the product.

The only thing I will buy from Activision, is a new Tony Hawk. It's that or nothing from now on, for me at least.

I would have loved to see DLC for Blops 2.

Trust me. I've been following the CoD news before the release of each game and they NEVER promised that CoD would have DLC on Wii U. They did say that the game would be the same as on other platforms, but I can see how DLC doesn't include that. The content that we got on the disc was the same as the other platforms.

I do know that for awhile they were advertising on their site the FreeFall map as a pre-order bonus on the Wii U pre-order page. But i think they removed that a few months, maybe weeks, before release

What about the DLC that they avertised with pre-orders? I appreciate their support, but no DLC will make my money go elsewhere.

On the exact same page that showed the Freefall DLC it said, "It may not be available for all systems." Now, anyone who had been keeping up with CoD for the past few years knew exactly which system they were talking about.

That wasn't added until later either.

In any case, Activision never released a press release saying that Wii U would be getting DLC. As far as I recall Freefall DLC was only on the website that listed it for Wii U and I don't know when that message was added so I can't dispute that.

They treated the whole situation horribly. They said there would be DLC, but then put out a camo pack. We know that wasn't the DLC they were talking about.

True they never released a press release saying Wii U would be getting DLC but they implied it. I can understand if people are upset, I almost got the game until I saw them drop DLC... plus the reviews didn't help.

The only DLC I want and that I think they NEED to release on the Wii U version is the next saga of Extinction... If they did, I'd buy just that DLC and hop back into Extinction mode...

The CoD game case says DLC. Then they put out that camo pack to avoid false advertisement. We all know that wasn't the DLC they had planned, otherwise they would have said DLC wouldn't be included at all.

Honestly, I think DLC was on the table, but it just required enough sales otherwise online would be unplayable.

Telling consumers that a certain amount of product needs to be sold in order for further support to happen, isn't what they said either, and nor should they say that.

They decided to withdraw the DLC, after the fact that people had already bought the game and thought that DLC was inbound. Making that camo pack DLC was strictly a move to avoid false advertisement.
