Truthfully I dont think it will be the same with the Wii U as it was with the Wii. The Wii at the time was revolutionary (no pun intended) where as so far the Wii U just seems to many like an upgrade to the Wii almost like what the Wii should have been. But who knows the outcome one thing that will make a difference will be the launch line up if its good than the system will be a hit at launch if not well it could end up like the 3DS.

Anyone who's criticizing people who turn a profit by selling new consoles should watch this quick informative video.
I had fun once and it was awful.

I am planning on buying around 6 to 8 wii u systems
Me too, but I'm keeping them all for myself.
Nintendo is most likely going to use a similar strategy they did with 3DS and manufacture plenty of consoles so there is no shortage like the Wii.
It won't be enough. The Wii U is going to be too hot.
...in my pants.

Two words: Skylanders Scalping.
Not as bad, since there will probably be tons of stock and it won't be a 400% price jack, but still.
Short answer: No...
I'd like to say that I recommend my my Backloggery, but I haven't updated it in a long time!

As much as I detest scalpers, the real problem are the idiots who buy from them. If no one bought from scalpers, there would be no scalping.
Put your analyst on danger money, baby.

If there were no scalpers, no idiots COULD buy from them. [/bad argument]
People get desperate when their children are crying or constantly going on & on & on about the ONE thing they want for Christmas and or birthday... it's like the parents who physically assaulted each other trying the buy Cabbage Patch Dolls in the 80's (or Niké trainers in the 2000's) so their loved ones were not in tears on Xmas day. Scalpers play on this misery to make their money. So I guess you're right, blame the parent not the scalper.
