Topic: Bringing Bayonetta 1 to the WiiU

If you haven't read the news article already, there's currently a campaign to bring Bayonetta 1 to the WiiU.

From Viewtiful Joe on the Gamecube to Madworld (and Okami) on the Wii and recently The Wonderful 101 on the WiiU, they've had some great games on Nintendo systems. They've also made some great games that haven't made it to a Nintendo system.
Bayonetta 1 is one of those great games.

With the sequel on the way to the WiiU, it only makes sense for Nintendo/SEGA to release it on the WiiU for those that never got to play it the first time around, and also for those that want to replay it prior to the release of Bayonetta 2.

Platinum Games are more than willing to port the game, but they need the go ahead from Nintendo to get the ball rolling. The only way that's going to happen is if we show Nintendo that there's a demand for it, so...

So you don't want the option of playing Bayonetta at more stable 60FPS and/or in 1080p on the WiiU?
The latter might be reaching, but the former would be a shoe-in seeing as Bayonetta 2 is already running at a solid 60FPS on the WiiU.

I already have Bayonetta on my 360. And I haven't even beaten it. I'm good
Although, I'd probably buy it again if it has at least some new content or DLC that I didn't know this game had (does it even have DLC? I don't connect online with this game).

I wouldnt buy a better version of game unless the difference where very noticeable if i already owned it.

I will say this though, i only played about 2 hours of the first game and loved and would gladly purchase the Wii U version to complete it.

Well, there are people interested on Bayonetta 2 who never had the opportunity to play the original. And it serves the purpose of introducing the series to the Nintendo audience. Also in Japan this idea works better, as a tie-in with the new anime movie!

Eh, played it on 360. Great game and all but not worth re-buying just to have it on a new console.

I need this to happen. The PS3 version is less than ideal. And there's just something about having a series consolidated on a platform. Feels legit.

Yes, sometimes strange things happen. I hope this is one of those occasions. I would like to be able to play the first Bayonetta before the second, but right now I can't because I only buy Nintendo consoles.
