Blizzard used to support Nintendo consoles in the past. Great games like: The Lost Vikings, Rock 'n Roll Racing, The Death and Return of Superman, Blackthorne, Justice League Task Force, Starcraft (N64), and Starcraft Ghost that would have came out for the GC if not cancelled.
I don't understand why Blizzard did not bring Diablo 3 on the Wii U. Imagine the possibilities with the gamepad!
Hopefully they will make a special Edition in the near Future.

Never understood even putting Diablo on consoles, it's meant to be played with a mouse... Without a mouse how can you clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick!?
Blizzard has been away from consoles for a while, though. Only recently did they bring Diablo III to the other consoles, and it was probably spurred on a bit by its terrible retention rate on the PC (yes, lots sold, but not many kept playing).
@KolbStomp I'm with you 100% - I don't understand it. And every review, even though they are mostly positive, cites targeting difficulties and errors because you are forced to use the sticks. I mean ... how can you give a game a really high score if its core functions are muddied by the control input?
@rallydefault
Having played the PC and console version I can safely say that the controls really aren't much of an issue. I've played though it a few times on the 360 and never really felt that I was being hampered by the inability to pick a single target out of the mobs.
Good to hear it doesn't really impact the gameplay, but I'll stick to the more precise input method. On my couple of playthroughs of the game, I know the vast majority of the content doesn't exactly require singling out foes, though. I'm hoping the PC version will continue to gain life as the RMAH goes away early next year and the various patches/expansion start to rectify the many mistakes that were made.

I'm curious to see whether the PC version regains its community once the auction house disappears as well. I'll have to pop in when Reaper of Souls has been out for a bit and see how it's changed from the original release period.

I do agree with you on that, but I'm much better with a mouse. And depending on the mouse you use (not some stock mouse) the precision is a tad bit more responsive and twitch-sensitive.

Well here's something that might make you feel better. It's not coming out on the Xbox One either.
