I got BLOP2 as my second Wii U Game after Fifa.

Eagerlly installing it, I found to my dismay a black screen of death as well. Basically, after a cutscene after about the 2nd or 3rd mission, the TV and Gamepad screens went blank and there was no other option than crashing the system via power button, or perhaps turning it off at the wall.

So, I had a similar failure, but I didn't get the text like that. I searched on the internet, found nothing and basically gave up. As a last ditch effort I decided to delete all files from my Wii U and reinstall.

Voila! it worked a charm and I never had the problem again. Played that game for another 55 hours (until it got nicked).

So, try deleting all install files and reinstall from disk - thats what I did.

Yeah, see my other thread. Some low life broke in and now is either trying to fit a game disk into the gamepad, or much more likely getting high off the sale proceeds

Judging by the context of his earlier thread I'm assuming Nicked must be british slang for stolen. although in the US and maybe Canada it just means something got scratched or cut.

NZ slang.

But I can see the potential confusion

Hey guys! So this literally just happened to me. I was playing on the map hijacked so at the top right corner of the screen it said hijacked so I thought someone was hacking my WiiU. I freaked out and googled the problem and came across this post. Long story short, to fix the WiiU:
1. Turn off WiiU.
2. Press the eject button on WiiU. This should power up the WiiU too. If it doesn't turn on the WiiU and immediately hit the eject button.
3. The game should eject and the WiiU should restart like normal. (Mine told me about holding down the power button before working).
4. Do whatever you want with the WiiU.

I hope this helps! I really didn't want to delete all my stuff so I tried finding an alternate solution.
