Something nice for a change on what has become quite a tedious forum this year.
I don't recall this happening last year on my birthday (which is today, thanks in advance), but when I turned on my Wii U I was pleased to see confetti raining down on my Mii's head, a fanfare and all the Mii's in the plaza coming down from the top of the screen with their hands in the air.
Second, I'm really loving all those nice touches. Nintendo just seems to have a knack with that. It just makes your special day feel even more special!
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
It doesn't stop with birthdays. You can enter all sorts of dates so you can celebrate them with your Wii U. Wait until you see what happens to commemorate the anniversary of finalizing your divorce. It's fantastic.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

If you took a picture, in Nintendo 3DS Camera, instead of having the folder of pictures say the date on it, it'll show a little cartoon birthday cake instead.

Haha! Seriously Nintendo should release a calendar app that does stuff like that - even better if it had a smartphone equivalent so it could import data from other calendar applications.
