I believe this rumor to be true. Now only if regi would surprise us with a super smash bros 4 trailer or a name or some info on it since it will be on Wii U and the 3ds.

even if this is true, I remember the Yoshi games from a few years ago...they weren't that good. Like when the best one of those newer Yoshi games was Yoshi Touch and Go, a somewhat expanded tech demo game...yeah...

I'd say hope for the best, expect the worst.

As much as I like the old Yoshi games (not to mention he still may be my favorite video game character from child hood), I want something new here. How about a 3D adventure for Yoshi, instead of side-scrolling. I don't know. Just an idea.

Pikmin fact of the week: The Pearly Clamclamps in Pikmin 1 can still attack and eat Pikmin even after being defeated. They are the only creatures in the game able to do so.

Hopefully this is true unlike the 3DS Donkey Kong at EB Games/Gamestop... We still have no announcement on that even though it was laid solidly down. A new Yoshi game would just be... :O

I'd like to say that I recommend my my Backloggery, but I haven't updated it in a long time!

Good Feel would be a great fit especially considering Wario Land Shake It was so good and hard to 100%.

Not to mention they could nail the Yoshi Island art-style.

I'm REALLY hoping this is true.

Personally, I don't think we need either. I mean, either would be nice, but we don't NEED either of these. It's been a very small crowd, from what I've seen, that's been asking for a new F-Zero and I don't think I ever heard anyone say they want a new Yoshi game until recently.

Yoshi's Island wasn't that hard either. It was 100%'ing every level that was the only challenging aspect of the game. Same for Shake It!, it's not hard to beat, but it's fairly difficult to 100%, especially when compared to other platform games.

I just want to see Yoshi in 3D, I can't recall ever seeing a game featuring him in 3d - besides super mario 64 for the DS.

Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 2. Technically his models are 3D in the NSMB series.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever get 100% on Yoshi's Island DS...
