I'm sorry if it has been mentioned elsewhere but c'mon guys this news really deserves it's own thread and also as a form of support.to negativity surrounding Bayonetta 2.Hope this thread is kept alive.

No, it doesn't. I honestly couldn't care less what anyone else thinks of the game. The fact that Hyrule Warriors got a mere 6, and a game like Skyward Sword got a 10 as well, tells me enough. These reviews are subjective, expecially if it's just about one review. This doesn't need it own thread.

Yes my friend you sound bitter...any grudges?

Skyward Sword isn't a perfect game. It was a good game, but it certainly had its flaws. Hyrule Warriors isn't a Zelda game, but that's what everyone seems to expect. These scores, as I said before, don't mean anything. Besides, it's just a score... no actual review [in the link you provided], which makes the entire thing even more pointless than it already was. There's just a number, no discussion value at all. That's why there's no reason for another thread like this.

Thats your opinion. and don't worry I'll update the thread with the reviews as the digital subscribers of Edge are gettin their issue earlier so we should have something on the internet anytime, also the number is 10 so that pretty much wraps up the review. What twist would you expect in the review? sumthing like a "It's not good" after giving a 10?

Indeed, that's my opinion. Since everyone has their own, the opinion of a magazine shouldn't be any different, I'm not sure why this is more important than the opinions of other people, I think this just belongs in one of the other Bayonetta 2 threads. Especially since the actual review (or preview for that matter) isn't even available.

Because they are the so called experts, also because their opinions are widely accepted than yours and they definitely have more experience than you.You see...that is why.

I wouldn't call the people at Edge "experts", to me they are journalists.

People have specific jobs even in Journalism, journalists have their own beat to cover and people covering each beat are specialist/experts of that beat.In this case you see people are assigned to their own jobs at Edge as well. Some write articles, some are assigned to reviewing games. Each specialists/experts at their own jobs

Oh well, I guess my opinion is ''wrong'' then. They sure are the experts...

Nobody said anything about you being wrong, it's just that their opinions are widely accepted while I can't say the same about yours.

I have never heard any journalist referring to topics as beats.

Isn't it kind of hard to take anyone serious who gives out perfect scores? Perfect scores are more of an indication of the reviewer being opinionated than it is of the actual quality of the game. I prefer to read what they have to say about the game than some perfect score.

Thus? Your point being? Even if an opinion is more widely accepted, that still means bugger all.

I've never heard of Edge Magazine and I'm sure I'll forget it by tomorrow's end, but that's nice I guess.

It's the major games mag in the UK, it's well respected through out the games biz but I echo the reviews are meaningless on their own remarks.
