Oh my god! I just played through the demo and it was extremely exciting! And i dont usually like these types of games.
Any1 else that played and enjoyed it?!

I had a blast. I'll definetly buy it sometime in Nov. I loved TW101, so I can't imagine Bayo2 (or Bayo1) disappointing me.

The demo was awesome. It did EXACTLY what demos should: put you RIGHT in the action. Besides the skip-able tutorial it was pure high-intensity, sexy goodness. Can't get this game soon enough!
I hate to say it, but my sister's wedding and this game are releasing on the same day...and I'm more excited for this game :3
I liked it quite alot. It definitely looks pretty good. I played through it twice, so that should be enough for now. I beat it on my first try, and almost died the second time, but still did better. I played B1 on PS3, but I didn't really get into it. I'll eventually get both once they come out on the eShop. I might not be able to buy it day 1, because of Smash Bros, but I'll for sure buy it eventually, along with Master Chief Collection and GTAV on Xbox One. There's alot of games to play this holiday.

Oh it was definitely fun. I just found that I was spamming the same few buttons and had no idea what was going on or why. The visuals are amazing, the combat is enjoyable even if I have NFI what's going on and the way they go through it with the story etc is decent. It's like The Wonderful 101 without the gimmicks and with a story that I doubt I'll skip through. I'm sold.

I actually avoided clearing Bayo 1 in the hardest setting because it disables Witch Time altogether. That skill is not only useful, but very enjoyable to use and satisfying to pull off. You may also parry hits with a certain item, so you have two defensive skills.
For W101, there is no Witch Time equivalent when you dodge, you do have a dodge and a parry and the Unite Bomb is the one slowing time, so there is no really need to wait until the last second to dodge a hit.
Regarding the demo, I could not download it all last night, so it will have to wait until I get off work today.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
It was fun but seemed a bit basic. Pound on enemy/boss, dodge to enable Witch Time, pound some more, dodge again, enable torture attack/special move and pound X. I wouldn't buy it at full price; maybe in a year's time.

It was great, but there is almost too much going on on screen at the same time to fully appreciate it. It plays great and looks fluid in motion, but I find myself almost wishing the action was slowed down so I could soak everything in.
OMG, i couldn't delete that Bayo2 demo from my Wii U's hard drive fast enough!!
Spamming the same buttons continuously and having no clue what is going on doesn't equal fun in my book.
Yeah, some people are going to feel this way. But Kamiya and P* Games makes games that are hard to master. He grew up in the arcade's and it was all about impressing the "gallery" watching behind you with your style and skills. Their games today reflect that era. Most people see it as simply spamming or "button mashing" instead of taking time to learn, master, and put on a show to the gallery of yesteryear. A great interview about Kamyia is here if anyone were interested in leaning more about one of the most unique game designers today.
Thank you. Some people seem to think that just because you can use two buttons and barely know what you are doing, then that is the only way to play the game and it has no depth.

Spin the camera around as you fight. That's how I absorbed the awesome action happening nonstop,
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

If you played Bayo 1, you can button smash your way through the first few chapters, but inevitably you'll start getting you butt kicked without knowing the proper combo's or utilizing witch time - all the time.
