I'm excited for this game. It's so odd, considering I've never played the first. But I saw some videos and now after seeing some more gameplay of this second one, I am definitely picking it up. Now I just gotta make sure to buy the first one.....
To Amazon!
Playing the first one on the Xbox 360 at my cousins house. To get even more playtime in while i am there i skip the cutscenes then watch them on youtube
Glad i now know thay have two control systems, one for casuals with touch screen, and the normal control system. I also want the Pro pad too, i also thought in the vid why speak about the fanbase as most of them don't own a Wii U. And thay should release Bayonetta on the eShop, hopeful this sells well so we see a Bayonetta 3.
I also agree they should of put effort into porting the first one , i recently have the pleasure of playing it and it was fun beyond from being EXTREMELY brown and grey color pallet (good to see they made it more vibrant) . I never owned a 360 or PS3 (im mostly a PC gamer so i buy nintendo consoles as they are the only games that will never make it to PC) and with the second one coming out i would love Bayonetta to come up on Wii U so we can play it. I will still be purchasing #2 but it would be nice.
I might have to go bother a friend of mine for his PS3 to play it.

I decided not to buy any home console until I finish my year and a half of nursing school left but every time I see something bayonetta related my will gets weaker. Yes I am also the kind of crazy person to buy a console for just one game.

Still surprised about this. In a good way. Probably going to pick up the first game on the PS3. It's pretty cheap now.
Use caution. Unless there's been a patch (there may have been, i don't know), the PS3 version reportedly was loaded with glitches. If memory serves, the PS3 version was ported by a different studio, which may have been why the game ran so poorly.
I did not know this. Thanks for enlightening us.
It was SEGA who ported the PS3 version, also the PS3 version was patched a few weeks after release, at the time reviewers point out the poor port so the game didn't get the review score that the game got on the 360.
Right now, I'm actually doubting my interest in Bayonetta 2 because of The Wonderful 101. If (and that's a big if) the game requires the same things from the player (keen eye, fast reflexes, methodological and patient approach), I might not find the game fun to play, even if it looked gorgeous.
The size of the "if" is emphasized by me never having played Bayonetta 1 or Metal Gear Revengeance or knowing how they are supposed to be played.
Well, it's Ninja Gaiden on steroids. If you're into that kind of stuff (Dynasty Warriors-ish) you'll love it.
