Seeing how the game is already undergoing translation (unlike X) a western release can't be far behind.

That means gameplay wise, GamePad with touchscreen poop over the pro controller, difficulty level etc. Don't thinks things like this cannot happen? DMC Reboot, but as It's PlatinumGames game it'll probably stay the same gameplay wise.

The game will be compatible with the Pro controller along with the GamePad (touch controls will be optional).

So.. it looks like we might play as someone other than Bayonetta at some point in this game, going by that trailer, it looks like you're controlling that kid when he's running from the monster. I imagine he'll be the other character that is used in Co-op considering Jean get's kidnapped.. from the looks of it.

Nintendo should make announcements more like Bayonetta 2.

Bayonetta is probably one of my favorite character designs of recent years. I like that her and the majority of her characters are fashion art, made a reality hence the proportions.

This game is looking incredible! That surfing scene is reminding me a lot of Sin & Punishment, and though I know it's gameplay isn't the same I hope the feeling of playing them is..

Any word on Bayonetta 1 coming to Wii U? I am getting Bayonetta 2 but would love to get Bayonetta 1 also, as I haven't played it and don't own a 360 or PS3

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I don't think they'll bring it, but I don't think it matters. It will stand alone.
