Topic: Batman Arkham Origins Season Pass DLC

Does anyone know when it will return on the eShop? Miiverse users were telling me it was removed because of issues with WB Games. Anything changed?

I don't know, I was really annoyed because I was gonna buy the season pass today.

Just checked the Eshop, and it's back up for those that are still wondering.

Nintendo customer service said that WB was canceling the Batman Arkham: Origins new story campaign DLC for the Wii U so Nintendo credited back the full price the Arkham Origins season pass I bought.

It's not coming, that's why a lot of folks are getting $19.99 refunds. This is bad folks. really bad.

What's The DLC I know it's coming in 2014. and is there Pro Controller Support thinking about picking this up?

I know! Did the Wii U version really sell that poorly that they couldn't make a profit from porting the dlc?!?!?! I think it's a pretty asinine move on WB's part since they said it was coming initially.

It will probably be an extra "mission" per say that extends the story, like "Harley Quinn's Revenge" did for Arkham City. Don't know if it supports the pro controller for sure (almost certain it does), but if you don't care about the multiplayer, and apparently, the story dlc, I highly recommend it!

Is it still coming for PS3 and Xbox 360?

The list of 3rd Parties abandoning WiiU is just getting bigger and bigger.

Yeah, regardless of the numbers, it is a kick in the balls to people who bought the Wii U version. Just like WB kicked Wii U consumers in the balls with regards to Injustice. I don't know the sales numbers, if they were bad, I could understand not bringing the DLC but only if it hadn't been previously announced that it was on the way. That however is not the case, WB said there would be DLC for the Wii U version, there should be DLC, bottomline. Now, if they don't want to bring the next Arkham to Wii U that's another matter entirely and depending on numbers may or may not be the right call. Truth be told I doubt Origins lit up the charts on any console. It was a good game, but weakest in the series and a clear cash grab at the end of a generation, and came out not too long after GTA V, right near AC IV which is a better game and right before new consoles.

Dang it dang it dang it. I can't believe they cancelled it. I might have bought it since Origins had nailed the narrative and mixing it with the gameplay, my only concern is that the Harley Quin DLC didn't feel like it was it was worth $10 when I played it. I think this would have been better though. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten it on Wii U, thought it would be fine since they announced the DLC was coming to it.

Darn it! I was really looking forward to this as Origins was my personal favorite entry in the series. I had planned to get the Season Pass around the time that the story DLC was released. Would have gotten it already if I had had the money to spare. I guess that's $20 I can save then.

Man this outlook isn't rosy at all.

Its been pretty much spelled out that it will feature the origins of Mr. Freeze; a criminally underused Batman villain.
