It is only by two weeks, that isn't bad

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

If the other versions aren't getting delayed, it could actually be pretty bad for WiiU. People could just buy it for another console, unless they're committed to the lower price.

A two week delay is nothing, if a two week delay makes you buy a different version than the Wii U version then how do you feel about the Donkey Kong delay or the Watch_Dogs delay? It is two weeks, not months. If you were going to buy the Wii U version you weren't getting the online before so that hasn't changed, so why would a two week delay change your mind?

worthless publisher mandated online mode replaced with a cheaper price, you have to wait 2 weeks for a video game

Yeah I'm just getting this on PS3 instead to many negatives for the Wii U version at this point.

Because you can't get Donkey Kong or Watch_Dogs anywhere else during the delay. You need to wait to play those games.

If you were excited for the game, owned a PS3 or 360 and a Wii U, see the Wii U version is delayed and has no online, would you wait 2 weeks for an arguably inferior product? I don't know about you, but most people would just jump ship to another console. The Wii U version of this game wasn't expected to do well (Arkham City only sold 170,000 units), now it might as well not exist.

I'd personally wait. Because I have patience. I just hope to god people don't fall so easily for online hype. Why wouldn't you want to save your money and potentially buy something else as well?

And...first of all, most of the sales will be from NA. 2nd of all, for a game that had been out for over a year, cheaper elsewhere while also competing with like 20 other ports at the same time, I think I'd consider 170,000 pretty decent sales all things considered. Like, compare it to Blacklist or even the Wonderful 101 and that's a pretty big achievement. Capcom praised MH3:Ultimate's success at 100,000, and that wasn't even on other consoles.

I understand if you but Batman on another system for online features, but I don't understand if the delay changes what system you buy it for.

I for one am jacked for this game on the wii u. Hopefully there are no framerate issues like Ac had. Could careless if I dont get mp. played the beta and thought it was laughably average at best

@DefHalan For me so two weeks would be hell as I know one of my friends at college will spoil parts of game on purpose or by accident just cause we all like to compare experiences/opinions.

Not everyone has a PS3 or 360, so there is a reason for a Wii U version.

Although I'm slightly annoyed that the Wii U doesn't have parity with the other consoles, I sort of understand why. Plus I will still get the game on the Wii U because I want to play it. The game being late isn't a great issue to me, as I'm still Gondola-ing around Hyrule.

Would like to see some conformation about it being cheaper in Europe than the PS360 version though.

3rd party developers are really starting to tick me off. They don't develop for Wii U because the numbers simply aren't there. However, they then release a watered down version for Wii U that launches after the other consoles and still wonder why nobody buys the game for Wii U... It seems pretty obvious to me. If you are a really big Batman fan then of course you are going to buy the one that has more features and comes out two weeks earlier. If Warner Bros. is upset with the sales for this game on Wii U then they have nobody to blame but themselves.

The only way to get 3rd Party to take Wii U seriously is to support any attempts they make on Wii U. If they start getting noteworthy sales on Wii U then they will start developing with the Wii U in mind. Wii U owners are going to have to suffer for a little if we want more support.

it's not fair, but at least they gave owners a lower price for less content instead of the ME3 thing where you could buy the entire trilogy for the same price at the same time on a different system. I'd take what you can get.

It may not be fair but it is the job of Wii U owners to prove to 3rd Party Companies that we are worth developing for!

the lower price is in the USA, EU has seen no offer of a reduced price.

Oh. Oh really? Ok, that actually makes people's disappointment at this far more valid.
