Topic: Assassin's Creed Liberation HD NOT coming to WiiU

I think a lot of you already know that Ubisoft has presented a HD edition of the PSVita game "Assassin's Creed Liberation" that is set to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC as a digital title in 2014 (source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/09/10/assassins-creed-libera...

What about the WiiU? I thought Ubisoft was still interested in working with Nintendo?

Ubisoft is not as supportive as they claim.. Activision is more supportive at this point. So you're better off praising them for releasing, and fully supporting Wii U games.

Here's the thing you gotta consider. Wii U has AC3 and soon it will have AC4. Do Wii U owners really want a AC Liberation HD??? Yeah, it would be nice if it came to Wii U but lets be serious here. The AC franchise has more haters than lovers. I think Ubisoft figures that AC4 is enough AC action for Wii U and I agree. Let the other guys play AC Liberation... A game that had a variety of scores from various gaming sites when it originally released on the Vita.

You know what Wii U owners should be ticked about?
We should be ticked about how Square Enix didn't even bother to give Wii U that amazing Kingdom Hearts remix that the PS3 just got. Heck, the Xbox 360 didn't even get it AND ITS GETTING KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!!!!! Like, REALLY???? Is there even a KH fanbase for the Xbox One??? There already is a dedicated Kingdom Hearts fanbase in Nintendo but Tetsuya Nomira (the clown behind Kingdom Hearts and even Final Fantasy XV) doesn't care. Instead of making a really decent Kingdom Hearts game for Wii U that could take advantage of the Gamepad... He puts two big JRPGS on a console (Xbox One) that people in Japan couldn't even care LESS about.

That is WHAT we should be angry about.

We also gotta get angry if we don't get Tomb Raider 2 (tentative title) from Square Enix....

You probably are right, I am even not really interested in that game. I know that porting a game to another console may be expensive, but I'm also sad seeing that most publishers don't even consider our beloved console... I'm just hoping, like everyone else, that when the bigN's games come out, the larger install base will attract more (greedy) publishers. My only problem is that at this point I am going to have more N games and less time to play the others

That a big donkey logic jump to defend not getting games. It shouldn't be about not wanting the games becuase there are probably people who wanted to play the game, but not getting the game is a worse sign even if the game is just okay. This just compounds the Wii U not gettiing bigger titles as well.

Also you act like Nomura is being evil on purpose regarding the WIi U. Final Fantasy has grown a fanbase on the xbox consoles and its easier to port FFXV/KHIII to the Xbox One/PS4. There still may be a WIi U port but that would take far more time than the xbox one.

Doesn't help consumers nor the developer's unfortunately don't care about the gamepad.

@Blastoise AC3 had 7 million sales last time I checked. Are their 7 million people who hate AC?

Hey, I never said that AC couldn't make good money. But didn't AC3 also have glitches and a flawed story? HOWEVER.... even you can see that there are people who think AC is spinning into a cash grab situation. Go on other gaming sites like Gameinformer and look at the reaction of people over some AC games. DO I think AC is turning into a cash grab situation? Ehh... I think the next AC entry will decide the status of AC. If the next AC game doesn't happen in feudral Japan then I'm done with the series. A modern day AC = Watch Dogs.

They've made it a cash grab because people keep buying the series and the main hook of AC mean's you can for the most part do whatever you. Twilight Princess and SKyward Sword had glitches and the story in AC3 wasn't flawed the ending sucked and conner was crappy but for the most part the game is decent.

Still if yearly AC games mean we get more rayman i'm all for it.

Final Fantasy as a series has always been more popular in america and Japan is the smallest of the markets which is why Final Fantasy XV is on Xbox One.

WOW! Hahah I didn't even know that. Final Fantasy is more popular in America... than it is even in Japan.... HAHAHA thats kinda funny and kinda even sad at the same time.

This has been explained multiple times, Xbox One is getting ports of games like KH3 because its so similar to the PS4 that it does not cost much to port the game they know it won't sell in Japan but the extra sales the XBONE port can have in other parts of the world are enough to justify the port because the cost of porting is not too high.... Wii U is a less powerful console with a totally different architecture which makes porting more difficult and expensive. Don't blame Nomura

Wii U owners should get used to big games not coming to the system. AGAIN im not surprised that 8 of the games announced only 1 is coming to the console. Such a shame for Wii U only owners ( YES they do exist lol )

Seems like a fair trade; the pseudo-hd twins get a AC:L HD and the Wii U gets WW HD.

LOL. The PS4/Xbox One are so simlar that its not even funny. Thats not exactly a bad thing...but its not always good either.

Its a good thing. The Wii U being different will probably have done more harm than good. Espically since the Wii U isn't that different to begin. I mean its main hook is an ipad hot glued to a xbox controller.

The Wii U being different will do more good than harm. You can expect the same high quality/low quality shooters and zombie games for PS4/Xbox One. I'm not saying these games are bad but they are becoming so repeitive to me. I'm tired of the freaking zombie genre!!!! Dead Rising 3 doesn't interest me and Sony's The Evil Within really doesn't interest me at all. Alotta gaming media has been suggesting the Wii U version of Rayman Legends over every other platform. Why? Because the Wii U brings something NEW to the table that people find enjoyable. Man, I'm glad that the Wii U isn't just like the Xbox One/PS4. Of course I wish the Wii U had more power but huge power does not mean huge sales/must buy games.
Titanfall doesn't interest me, either. In my opinion, its one of the most overhyped games I ever saw in my life.

The PS4 will become my JRPG/RPG haven while the Wii U offers experiences that I can only find with Nintendo products.

Evil Within is coming to Xbox One as well hence Wii U's problem.

The few games that will make the gamepad worth it aren't really worth the trade off of losing a ton of third party support and hurting the system's chances in the eye's of users.

Rayman Orgins is probably the best on Wii U (if you discount Vita), but its not $350 good.
