I could not find a topic for this game, so here's one. I may be getting this for the Wii U.
I'm a big first party Nintendo fan so this series is something different for me.
I got a 360 in Janurary, and just got Assassin's Creed yesterday. After seeing the trailer for 3, I wanted to check out the first couple games (which I've been a little unsure about some of the themes of this first game I've spent about an hour on, but I think I'm going to stick it through...).

Seeing this new one set in the time of the American Revolutionary War, seems interesting on all it's own for me. The gameplay looks really interesting too, which I guess is the most important part of it anyway.
And by the way, anyone know if the Wii U version will be getting any special edition versions of it??

I don't think that information has been released, but I'm not sure why they'd make a special edition specifically for the least populated console. It's more likely the Wii U will get the collector's/special edition that the other consoles get.

Assassin's Creed 3 looks amazing though. I'm not a huge AC fan, but the setting is enough to put me over the edge. If the Wii U gets a successful version of this game and the controller is implemented well, you all might get a chance to see me compliment the system.
