Yes. Because I'll spend money on a crappy version of a game to help Nintendo with 3rd parties.Pfft

I'm buying it for PC because it performs better and is cheaper (not buying any DLC crap) so I don't know where you got the acting like children part?

I think he was talking about the OP and the people in the article.

I'm talking about the people complaining about how the Wii U version doesn't have something the other versions have. It's childlike really. See, when I [And I realize this could just be me] was a kid, I wanted all sorts of stuff that I didn't have simply because I didn't have it. If I ever did get it, I played with it for a bit and forgot about it. From what I've seen, that same behavior's been showcased by some of the people complaining about how the Wii U version doesn't have multiplayer. You wouldn't play it, it was probably gonna suck anyway, so why do you ["you", in this instance, being the people complaining] care?

@Jaz007 I hope that wall of text up there answers your question.

Still the point here is if you dont want the gimp version as you put it, there is other systems to buy it on instead of starting up something by posting a thread thats going to start a flame war.

Yeah, I just read the article with over 100 people raging about the lack of the Multiplayer mode. I'm shocked and disheartened that so many people would rather play what was one of the last great singleplayer series online.

Well it IS 2013. You shouldn't be so surprised.

Honestly I think the whole "online" thing is waaaay out of control. There are some things that dont need to be online.

For the record, anyone mad about the lack of multiplayer in Batman is someone I personally disagree with.

Who said I was surprised? It still sucks for a multiplayer-hater who can't stand seeing his favorite series watered down by terrible, useless multiplayer modes just to cash in on a bunch people like you, though.

This discuss is going no where. Just "yes buying the Wii U version or no not buying it" simple as that. -_-

For some reason I feel like space and time have been warped. Oh well.

Well anyway my brother is getting the 360 version for himself so I'm obviously not gonna bother getting the Wii U version for a game I already own (actively been trying to avoid that for a while). And online still doesn't play a part in this since we haven't paid for Xbox Live for years now.

I do think buying a gimped version is dumb but I'd love to see people just give the middle finger to blatantly forced online modes. It would amuse me.

Yeah I'll get it on Wii U still. I don't really care about the online, I just wanna play the main story. They're not adding online to Wii U version because of small install base and poor sales, not buying the Wii U version will only prove Warner Bros right and encourage them to keep doing this with their games, maybe even drop Wii U support entirely.

Exactly! Already got my Wii U copy paid for. Can't wait.

You did say you were shocked, which means you were surprised

For me, I'm just happy this is coming to Wii-U at all and couldn't give a crap about online multi-player! Batman doesn't need anything but a great single-player campaign. Definitely sick of every game out there having multi-player tacked on when it's unnecessary Though I could see why, if given a choice, you would get one of the other versions.

For me I will probably get it on Wii U since I can use more games on the Wii U. The multiplayer aspect doesn't appeal to me so its not that big of thing that the Wii U version wont get it.

I'm still getting the U version. I couldn't care less about multiplayer as it looks very tacked on.

Yes. Arkham City was amazing, and the armored edition was kind enough to introduce me to the series, which, as a lot of people here have pointed out, is known for single player! I can count the number of simultaneous online modes that I have actually enjoyed and come back to on one hand. If there was some sort of local co-op with Batman and Robin, and the Wii U version wasn't getting that, then I'd be angry, but as it stands I think online modes like this one are overrated.
