Topic: Are you guys buying batman arkham origins, even if its gimped ?

I love batman games and i don't like to play multiplayer so i ordered it for 50 on amazon, cheaper by 10 dollars.

Who said it's Gimped? I'm getting the PS3 version, though, so I can have all my Batmans on a Playstation console.

In the UK, Origins is sold more expensive on the U than any other console. I refuse to pay more for a castrated version of the game. I'll be picking it up on PC/PS3 (not decided yet).

The Wii U version isn't getting the multiplayer.

And that is why I have a 360.

Pre-ordered on the WiiU before no multiplayer was announced, too lazy to cancel and get it for PS3.

Well of course I'm getting it. The only reason I didn't get City was because I already had it on Xbox. Now that it's a game I don't have, I'll be sure to pick it up since Off-TV play Arkham is too good to pass up on.

...oh noes, a game in a series that has always been singleplayer-only isn't getting a tacked-on Multiplayer mode that'll be dead in less than a week! Oh the horror!

Yeah I'll get it on Wii U still. I don't really care about the online, I just wanna play the main story. They're not adding online to Wii U version because of small install base and poor sales, not buying the Wii U version will only prove Warner Bros right and encourage them to keep doing this with their games, maybe even drop Wii U support entirely.

@CanisWolfred They're acting like children. XD They want the thing that everyone else has, regardless of whether or not they'd like it.

I'm buying it for PC because it performs better and is cheaper (not buying any DLC crap) so I don't know where you got the acting like children part?

honestly, i don't like multiplayer. i enjoy gaming as a hobby, so i don't get into being multiplayer. there's always a bunch of other people online who are so much better at the game than i am (or they're just a noob lol), so i always die, and it isn't really fun because i have no chance against them. unless they do something like what they're doing with Watch_Dogs multiplayer, i won't really be interested. so if i get a copy, it'll be for wiiU.

I don't get why being unhappy about the Wii U version is childish, maybe some of us want the gamepad and multiplayer or don't have anything but a Wii U to play it on. I'm still getting it for Wii U and not PS3 since I want the gamepad and I probably would never play the multiplayer.
