I heard this somewhere a little while ago (before WiiU came out) and I'm wondering if this is true. Either way I'll be testing this tomorrow with a friend's wiiU, just hoping I misunderstood so I can bring NLand to play.

I really doubt it. Otherwise Gamestop would refuse to buy used games for the system to sell later, but that's not the case.

Oh, ok, good. I haven't seen any used U games yet, so that didn't help, but if they are around then I suppose that answers my question! Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I think this is a bit of a legal no-no

A consumer does have a right to sell on software that they have paid for.

The link below is about digital software, but I'd imagine the same applies to hard copies

Even NOA is required to refund by law if you want one. I accidentally purchased Too fast 4 Gnomz on 3DS and called NOA, and after a talk with a supervisor they refunded my money and deleted the game from my system (Yes, they can do that)

the same was rumored with the ps3 and 360

point is doing so would be considered financial suicide... microsoft and sony depends on gamestores to sell their consoles.. if they were to go down that routw gamestop and other stores will refuse to sell them... most of gamestops profit comes from used game sales... if they were to all of the sudden not be able to sell used games for a system that doesnt allow the use of used games, then gamestop wont be able to make a profit on that console.. and will less lilly noy carry the console...

you must remember gamestop and other stores even looked into refusing to sell the pspgo because the system is purly digital only and if it wasnt for the fact that digital games was made possible to buy at retail via download code cards, they probably wouldnt of carried that model of psp..

What the? Holy curd, that's awesome. How on earth did you manage to convince NOA to give your a refund? Are you a magician?
