It sucks but tbh I didn't even notice. I just buy nintendo franchises anyway (lucky me I guess...). I really hope they'll get some support when sales increase thx to mario kart 8 but I wouldn't bet on it...
No offense but it is that kind of mentality that hurts Nintendo getting more 3rd Party. If you don't buy 3rd Party on Nintendo then Nintendo won't get 3rd party which means there are less reasons to buy a Nintendo system making it harder for Nintendo to make money...
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Honestly I hate to say this but if you can only afford one system well you are going to have to decide do you like playing Nintendo games more or third party games?
I'll take the Nintendo games. The few quality third party titles that come are welcome and there's not much better than stomping Goombas or saving Hyrule. The Nintendo first-party titles will always be hits and classics.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
Me too. As it stands, I have enough third party games to keep me busy for a long time. Only reason I'd get a PS4 or Xbone would be to play Madden. I'm fine with 2013 for now and will be for a while.

How does one person's opinion hurt Nintendo? Nintendo hurts themselves buy not properly marketing the Wii U. Heck I don't plan on buying any 3rd party games on the Wii U that's why I have a PS4.

^Not individually, but Miss_Dark is hardly the only one. It's the collective apathy towards third party games that's been growing since the N64 era that's hurting Third Party support, among many other things...
@CanisWolfred Hmm... a collective apathy towards third parties since the n64 era, the same era where third parties stopped supporting Nintendo as much. What a coincidence.
But this is the consumers fault and not the publishers fault, right?
They're gone for the most part.
Nintendo will have 2nd party exclusives and indies, but outside of that I don't see anything else coming to the platform and the console will suffer because of it.
Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

I think y'all are being too hard on Miss_Dark. It's a little silly to pretty much shun third parties altogether, imo, but there are always going to be some who like certain games over others. There are exclusive Nintendo gamers just as there are gamers who couldn't give two *blank*s about Nintendo games, for example.
At least she acknowledged that she hopes it picks up support once games like MK8 hopefully boost sales a bit.
She could've been like all of those looney fanboys who, when a developer announces they aren't bringing titles to the Wii U or whatever console, pretty much say 'well f**k them anyways, who needs em' meanwhile complaining about the lack of games. That is the kind of mindset that shouldn't be encouraged and is hurting things more if you ask me.
At the end of the day, I think I would rather have strong indie support than strong 3rd party support - indie developers are much more likely to think outside the box and deliver unique gameplay experiences than larger companies.
If I had to make a guess, it'll be not good beyond a few exceptions (mainly kid's games that have had mainstream success) but they'll get some of it back eventually.
BUT it's only most of the book g multiplats. (Which honestly if they marketed well would have sold) ppl like Ubi will complain when games Like watch dogs won't sell well, yet release it months after.
They assume with big games, most Wii u owners have another console and will get multiplats for that.
Nintendo has a higher install base than XboxOne.
But Ubisoft is bringing its smaller projects to the Wii U.
Wii U will have more exclusives, esp. From the east. (Sonic boom, bayonetta, shin megami tensai x Fire emblem for example.)
Yeah, it seems that way. I don't think third-party will come back though, companies will start designing their games to use more power than Wii U has. Since I have a PS4, I actually kind of like that part though. I personally just hope for a few third-party games that make use of the gamepad and are Wii U only, like what Red Steel 2 is for Wii. I also don't buy a game to support Wii U third-part; I but the version that I think gives me the best deal.
