Have you tried checking the Wii Shop on your old Wii to see if it will allow you to redownload it there? I find it hard to believe they'd allow the license to just evaporate in to thin air without being tied to any system anymore. If it's actually permanently lost, that has to be some sort of glitch.

I DID the transfer. Lost Winds did NOT transfer. You can't play it on your Wii U.
It did NOT remove it from mjy Wii. My Wii is NOT blank, just removed the stuff that DID transfer, NOTHING ELSE.
You don't lose it, it remains on your Wii. And you can download it again on your Wii if you delete it. Already tried that too to make sure.
It is NOT available to download in the Wii section of the Wii U, it's not there, period. It IS available to download on your Wii. Same as always.

Cool. I didn't really like this game much, but I was wondering where it went like everyone else. It probably just wasn't compatible with Wii U, since it was Wii Ware day one software...
