Honestly if you think about it. If Gamecube games come to the VC they will be the original games that came out for the GC. They wont be HD remakes or anything like that. I mean Nintendo could do a HDD remake series kinda like they did with the Play Control remakes they made for the Wii but it wont be available for the eShop. The didnt remake any of the NES, Genesis, N64 etc, games for the Wii's VC why would they do that for the Wii U?
There should be gamecube games in the Wii U's virtual console (if it ever gets one). You can't say there won't be HD remakes, because you don't have the authority to know that. Whether or not they remade any genesis games for Wii is irrelevant to whether or not I would like Wii U remakes of gamecube games. And, quite honestly, I'd like remakes of the old games, too. SMB1-3 and SMW all with New Super Mario Bros' engine would be awesome. Maybe just remake Super Mario All-Stars, like the Wii's anniversary edition should have been. But now it could be in HD, anyway.
There is no authority in knowing REMAKES to the extent of completely changing the gameplay that extreme will happen. They just won't, and that's all there is to it really, just by using common sense... Like I said, they're going to add the new features available now to NEW games, NOT the old ones. VC will release the ORIGINAL version of the game with HD, and audio improvements 100%. If they remade(remake) every single game they ever release on Wii U on a 'VC', it woudn't even be VC anymore, as far as old games go. At the point of remaking the game the way you think it should, they would count as Wii U exclusive releases, and wouldn't even really count as GCN games anymore once you add all the Wii U features in technological terms.
