So anyone else find it odd that with the pokemon TCG being such a big thing being the 1st/2nd CCG on the market that Nintendo has only put out two games involving the TCG out. You have the original game for the Game Boy and the Online game that's currently out for the computer. What's even more weird is we've had three Nintendo systems that are tailored made for the genre having a touchscreen.
I'm not a big CCG guy anymore but I tend to buy the digital versions to play and i'm honestly a bit surprised we haven't seen another system TCG game since forever.
WAT!

I think a TCG game on Wii U that would utilize two gamepads would be great. Like, say each player would see their TGC mat on the gamepad, and the tv display both. Idk, that's just my idea of how it could work on Wii U, but honestly all I really want is a new Pokemon Pinball.

A million times, yes! I absolutely loved the first game, and about a decade ago, I tried to get through the sequel (even though I didn't know any Japanese back then). I've bought a few theme decks on impulse about a year ago, and I've dabbled with the Mac version of the official online Pokémon TCG, but I would prefer an RPG style game in a similar vein to the GBC version on 3DS.
You guys are aware that there is a fairly decent Pokémon TCG available for download on your computer right? It's run by the company that makes the cards and the only downside is that you have to buy packs in real life to get cards in the game. It's all online and fun for trading card game fans: http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/play-online/download/

i would love a new trading card game video game to be made out of it o: i enjoyed playing the first one, and i cant play the online one sadly ... i gota point out that you are forgetting about the japanese only sequel to the game boy game.
