Man, The gamecube was my only system for many years when I was a kid. I remember playing countless hours of F-Zero GX, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi Mansion, Melee, WWF WrestleMania X8 lol etc. That little box made my childhood awesome lol! So good memories with it!

But yeah, I remember putting hours into Metroid Primes 1 and 2, as well as Smash Bros. Melee. Enjoyed Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Manson. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was fun. Probably a year after Wii launched, I finally got my hands on F-Zero GX, best racing series ever. Love playing the Rogue Squadron games alot nowadays, while I wait for some epic HD Star Wars game based on every event for the saga. I also liked playing Batman Begins way before the Arknham series came to be.

I miss the awesome controller more than anything. Plus I got Prime Trilogy so I'm good.

Yea I remember playing wind waked and twillight princess until 6 in the morning with out getting up for nothing for 3 or 2 days I miss that R.I.P. gamecube

You're only missing it if you no longer play it. For me, I just finished The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and I am about to finish Twilight Princess. I don't know what I will play after that, but I will always be playing something on my favorite Nintendo system.

Anyone here played Donkey Kong Jungle Beat with the Bongo Controller? Now that game was killer!!!

Man I finish twillight princess not to long ago and it almost took me 7 years to beat it yea I know 7 years u guys must be thinking this guy is dumb well it took exactly 7 years to finally get the game and I still play it

I only had a GCN for about a year before getting a Wii, but I played tons of Super Smash Bros. Melee, Capcom VS SNK 2, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, & Twilight Princess during that time.

Still the go to family console. Melee gets played almost daily along with MKDD.

Loved the cube. Only recently I picked up a cube with 2 controllers off eBay for an awesome 19 euros and enjoy ssbm, time splitters 2, wwe day of reckoning 2, metroid prime, etc... AGAIN. Best console ever IMHO!

Miss it ? Im guessing mostly the younger pups are selling their old systems for new ones ? Therefor selling their cube or wii/cubes ? I still rock them , playing Double Dash , Evolution Worlds , Melee & All the Mario Parties on that system as well cant wait til Mario Party Wii U and when i can get my hands on another copy of Eternal Darkness & Skies of Arcadia. LPs i definitely want to get done sometime this year for the good old cube indeed.

Not really.
Beer + Women + partying dominated my later tween years to the point where i was constantly dipping in and out with that little funky Indigo lunch box. It's got some great games, but i just wasn't too interested during the time and it was the first time ever that i lost interest in gaming. Still, the GCN was the first console i ever got for christmas where as the previous NintenSystems were pretty much birthday presents. as far as the GCN goes, Luigi's Mansion is what defined it all for me, especially playing it at a pre-launch GCN party. Not to mention having a blast with SSB Melee during lunch breaks with other students when i was in Game Art & Design at the AI. I'm still kicking myself for passing on Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin(which was fantastic on the Wii btw), Pikmin 2, Mario Kart DD Paper Mario TYED ect ect. But Once the Wii was announced gaming hit me like a thunderstorm and i was back in it all over again! That's when i got the GCN kick, and started playing Resident Evil 4, Viewtiful Joe, Metroid Prime, StarWars Rogule Leader II, Wind Waker and many more.
As of now, I have a Purple GCN, 2 controllers, with Luigi's Mansion, RE3: Nemesis and Paper Mario TEYD. Sadly, I sold most of my other games when i was about 19. I don't actually play on it since it's lacking a component input, so i just play GCN games on my Wii....The next shall be sunshine! Whenever that happens.
