Topic: Anyone here looking forward to Legend of Kay Anniversary?

Seems to have very much dipped under the radar given that it's release date is just over two weeks away, shortly after Yoshi's Woolly World here in the UK (which I must say I'm incredibly excited for).

It'll probably get even more over looked with E3 just around the corner and the aftermath that follows. But given its current price on Amazon UK (£15), a 3d platformer with a Sly Cooper/Mini Ninja vibe imo (both of which I love), I'm looking rather forward to it.

I'm definitly interest, I got even fooled by the wrong release date posted on NL and for few days I couldn't wait to get it yesterday XD

But are we sure is gonna come out at the end of the month? Even the official site only state a generic "Summer 2015", did they released more infos elsewhere? ^_^;

Ahaha same here xD. As for it coming out at the end of the month for definite, I don't know entirely myself sadly. Just browsing Amazon last night and the game just caught my eye and all, especially at its current price. Hopefully it won't be like Teslegrad with its physical release being constantly pushed back before having a stealth release all of a sudden.

I did see it was going to be released, but I thought it was just some licensed game. I didn't expect a HD remaster of a 3D platformer. I'll probably get this.

For those who are familiar with the series, is the gameplay more linear or more open? I've been wanting to know for a while now, and I don't want to spoil myself my watching footage of the PS2 game on Youtube.

Nintendo just uploaded a trailer of this game in eShop, at least here in Europe. I haven't seen this one before, as it showcased some voicework, too.

No release date still, either. I have been trying to find the trailer elsewhere to link it, but haven't been able to find it.

EDIT: Looks like the game is releasing July 28th.

I've never played a Legend of Kay game before but it looks like a type of game I'd like, I'm looking forward to picking my reserved copy on the 28th.

I haven't played the original, and reviews weren't spectacular from what I can gather, but I love a 3D platformer and am eager to support third-party Wii U games!

never played the original but I tend to like hidden gems and it has to be at least decent to earn a remake like this so I'll get it day one.

Why? Unless I'm mistaken the only reasons to preorder are for some exclusive preorder bonuses, a discount or if incase you think there'll be a stock shortage. I don't think any apply here!

I am just getting around to play the Sly Cooper games. (I just got my PS3 last december, and am borrowing the hd collection from a friend) So I haven't play too many 3D platformers like it. But at game for my Wii U is a good game at this point.

I played the DS version for a few minutes and didn't like it.

Until I saw the DS version, I didn't know the series existed.

No. I'm not looking forward to it, but if you guys say it's good (once it's out), I'll probably grab it.

The Wii U eShop? I honestly don't know of any exclusions.
