Topic: Anyone getting Splinter Cell Black List for Wii U?

IGN's review seems pretty promising 9.2 so I think I'm probably gonna pick this up

I was on the fence, but after reading a couple reviews today, yes. Though I wish I could find a review that was more focused on the Wii U version of the game.

Reviews are pretty promising. Heh, I may just get this (as soon as i get the money....)

I hope Nintendolife do a review so we can get a better idea about the Wii U specific version.

So, who actually got it? I recently downloaded the game and was wondering if some of you plays online?

I bought the game off a Black Friday sale in November. Once you get past the atrocious loading times the game runs fairly well both online and offline.

I downloaded it so maybe it's a little faster, but yeah, loading the missions is really long. Luckily though, loading the checkpoints is 5 sec short. So once you're in you're free to try stuff without fearing you are going to die which leads to long loading times. (I'm looking at you Deus Ex!)

Best Buy was selling it for $5. A deal you can't refuse.
Even though I beat Chaos Theory, I'm having trouble beating the normal mode's first mission. I have to do things I never did in Chaos Theory. Things that lack stealth. And it's annoying. But the rest of the gameplay has been alot of fun.

Like what? Knocking out?
The only part that kinda lacks stealth, even though you still can be sneaky and not dedected, is in the mill mission, because it's total shoot out near the end, but still, you can do it without detection and killing. Only thing this game lacks is polish, because there are a lot of bugs, not stealth. It's actually stealth game, and not action game like Conviction. Only problem is that stealth ways are the most obvious to notice

I bought it off the eShop sale, I must say I think it's a really great single player game... I just CAN'T get an online game going. Either nobody in EU is online or the Ubisoft EU servers are just broken...

I tried making a Miiverse post asking for people who want to play online to add as friends, but apparently you're not allowed to do that! WTF? So the post was deleted. There used to be a "players wanted" kind of post on Miiverse, when did they take that out, with the recent 3DS update?

If anybody from EU sees this and want to play online, feel free to add me. My Nintendo Network ID is the same as this ID, Tritonus.

Speculation: I really think all the 3DS users have gimped the Wii U online kinda permanently. At least until Nintendo decides to upgrade their servers. They have felt really slow ever since the Christmas outage.
