Topic: Anyone else's Wii U make strange noises when playing Smash Bros?

My copy of smash bros works perfectly fine. I've never had any crashes, error codes, or hiccups in gameplay. However, during load times for a new match, after a match, etc., my Wii U will make a strange whirring or clicking noise. I've never noticed this noise when playing any other game. I've taken my disc out of the Wii U and there are no scratches or anything else out of the ordinary. The console also has not gotten overheated or anything like that (at least that I've noticed)

Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is the Wii U just working super hard to run Smash?

I think you're just hearing the console run the game.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

No a friend of mine is having the same issue and if you look carefully the disc is slightly thicker than a standard Wii U disc so I'm wondering if Smash For Wii U uses a dual layered disc?

Why is this an 'issue'

Its just the wii u reading the data on the disk, nothing new...
