Recently, GS started a wait list for their powerup program, where if you preorder a wii U after the sell out, they will call you the moment they have a new shipment for you. Better yet? It's just like a pre-order, except it's FREE!
Seeing how it took me long enough to convince my grandma to let me preorder the wii U, I had to be on this list as they were all sold out. (My grandma was speechless when she found out). So I'm getting a basic model the moment the second shipment comes in. I just hope said shipment comes before the end of November. Anyone know from past experience when the Wii got it's second shipment?
So, is anyone else on their list?

Yes, it's free, but technically so is preordering. You are the paying for the console either way, exact same cost. Preorders you just need to show money a bit before, wait list means you give it all right when it comes in.
Yep. I feel like a loser... I might just run into Fred Meyer on launch day; that store takes no preorders and, for some reason, no one ever lines up for anything there.

Went back to GS and they said that the wait list details aren't even confirmed yet... They aren't sure if the wait list will break up into basic or deluxe catergories, or A wii U in general. I wanted the basic bundle, but if they only have deluxe bundles then grandma won't even want to let me spend my money on it.
