And did anyone invest in a screen protector or do you think its worth it?

I'm not too worried.
I've never had an issue with the touch screens on my DS/3DS systems and I expect this to be more of the same.

Ah the systems not even out for three days and all these worry threads, calm down children, just keep your claws off the screen and it should be fine.

I've been using Hori screen protectors for my 3DS, and they are awesome. They have ones for the WiiU Gamepad, but not until December.

but yeah i wasnt able to get my wii u but i been looking into getting some just to be on the safe side i dont think using the stylus for the gamepad would be the same as the ds for some reason would rather use my fingers xP but i found these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009PT6O9I/?tag=point09-20

and i was told there better then the ones that have the glue substance o.o plus there washable so eh not bad i guess maybe get these and the hori ones to be sure?least thats my plan

No. The worst touch screen scratches Ive ever had were on the original DS, and it literally looks like I had had played it for years even though it was a year and a half old, then I got the DS lite. It looked like chicken scratch pretty much all over the screen, and wasn't even slighly smooth at all anywhere on the screen. I honestly just like using stuff without worrying that I'm going to 'ruin' it. It feels nicer, it's cheaper, and if it does get 'ruined', it will just make me look hardcore. haha.

If you hold touch screens at the right angle, you'd barely notice the scratches, so no

Not investing in any protectors. Although, I am worried of scratching it.

I bought a screen protector and it calmed my nerves especially when my kids are using the Gamepad.

I'm not going to, well at least until I have kids and they are old enough to use it.

I'll wait until some quality protector comes to the market.

By now, while I'm not in home, I'd let my gamepad locked down, I would not risk it that nobody accidentally drop it to the floor.

I invested in a screen protector, rubber gloves for those who want to play with it and a case you put it in when finished playing.

Got me a 10 dollar pack of 2 screen protectors, a cloth, and two stylis...sis..however you say the plural of that word.

I put the protector on and there is little bubbles everwhere now. Oh well. Now how in the world do I get this thing off...

I hope when they sell new Gamepads seperately they aren't too much, cause it would make me feel way more confterble knowing that I can have a nice newer one put up for future uses when the system gets kind of old. At least for systems like the SNES and 64 this wasn't an issue.

they do but not sure when they will be available to buy also I hear they will be priced around $170 kinda expensive I just hope the screen is somewhat scratch resistant
