1. How would Pokemon X/Y have boosted the Wii U sales had it been on the Wii U if trading would be insane?

2.How would it make Nintendo get more profitable if they banished the Wii U?

3. How firing Iwata will help Nintendo achieve their goals better?

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

1. People would complain X&Y don't look like HD games.

2. Nintendo would still lose money.

3. You need to define what are Nintendo's goals 1st.

Am I going to have to start posting random youtube videos in doom threads again? Because I will

Perhaps, but it's hard to tell the OP's position. He might be refuting common bad advice for Nintendo from internet people.

1. Moot.

2. The Wii U is currently operating at a loss. The phrase "cut your losses" could be applied here literally.

3. It wouldn't.

1. Nope. The Pokemon game we know today has always been a handheld title and always will be. Unless they decide to make a whole new pokemon franchise with a whole new gameplay. Like Rumble...

2. If you understand R&D and business, dropping the Wii U will be the biggest mistake Nintendo will ever make. So no.

3. No comment since the question is extremely vague.

Please do, it was the only joy I got from these topics where we all repeat the same thing about how the Wii U is not Doomed, it has only be out for a year

Are we talking about released on both 3DS and Wii U? It would have boosted some sales but not as much as you might think.

If it was exclusive to Wii U? People would complain it is just like the handheld Pokemon games and does nothing with the GamePad but sales would have been improved.

The fact that sales would have improved in both cases, in my opinion, speaks more to the lack of content on Wii U and less about Pokemon being on the Wii U.

Nintendo would lose a lot of money on Wii U's they have already made and most games in Development for the Wii U would be scrapped. This would also cause even more people to wait on buy their next system and lead to Nintendo actually following SEGA's footsteps.

Is Iwata in their way of achieving goals? I think it is funny that Iwata who has been leading Nintendo through some of the best financial decisions Nintendo has ever had is being asked to leave Nintendo by us(gamers), not business people. Imagine at your job if you lead sales for last month but the next week you come dead last in sales and you were fired. Does it not matter what you just did? (In Iwata's case what he just did was the Wii, DS, and 3DS)

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

1. Wrong audience
2. Wii U's already made. Also, reduces consumer trust and confidence.
3. Will not help at this point. If he messes up the next console, then possibly fire him. Miyamoto has to shoulder some blame for this debacle too..

1. I think this would've been great for the system. Unfortunately, Game Freak never would've done this.

2. It wouldn't. That's a silly idea.

3. "Nintendo" doesn't have goals. It's a non-human entity that was created in the hopes of making money. It seems to be doing that just fine, though, with the exception of the last few years, but I don't see Iwata stepping down because of this, nor do I think he should, nor do I think it'd help anything, anyways.
