Crossplay between the 3ds and the Wiiu of animal crossing? I'm in!

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I'm currently playing Watch Dogs 2 & Manhunt

Animal Crossing pretty much confirmed...to be possible my mere hints that in no way suggest a 100% concrete game.

They could also be making an enhanced version of Animal Crossing New Leaf for the "New" 3ds. Although I imagine they would annoy a lot of fans if they did that.

Did we ever need confirmation? Animal Crossing is much too big of a success for it to not eventually make an appearance here.

It took like 4 years or something crazy from the time new knew about New Leaf to the time we could play it, so I wouldn't get too excited yet.

Technically stuff like Animal Crossing characters being part of the Mario Kart 8 DLC or Villager being in Smash were "Animal Crossing news". I wouldn't be surprised if there was a game for the Wii U in the next year or so but this is far from confirmation of it.

I kinda thought Splatoon would put a halt to Animal Crossing U happening anytime soon since they're from the same team.

IIRC, Splatoon is developed by a rather small team of young developers.

I still don't get the point of a home console AC. For me AC has always been the game I open up on my handheld when I'm relaxing in my bed before sleep or at school during a break. But that's just me...

Very fitting with the rumours of the cancelled Villager amiibo too ...

With the GamePad, you could do the same.. Well, not outside of your house, but it's still more convenient than it was on the GameCube and the Wii.

I personally prefer the home console versions of it. The portable versions are nice but I tend to want to have them be a personal version. With the home console version I can more easily share the town or even watch someone else play the game in our shared town. I know you can technically do that on a portable copy but I don't want to share the portable game, it's just a pain especially a digital copy because then I have to give up my 3DS for a bit. And it is a game I want to be digital because I want to play it every day.

The Wii U version could be a version that brings people together instead of having portability. A huge online maybe? I'd kill for an Animal Crossing MMO or at least MMO-like features..

I would love a local multiplayer animal crossing! How cool would that be?

Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)
