Topic: Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival Updates for series 2 etc Amiibo

I have recently bought ACAF and wondered if I will need a Title update for it to be compatible with the Amiibo and cards released later.
As I'm offline I won't be able to update it.
Will I need an update to use Resetti?!

All amiibo card series' (1-4) work without an update, offline.

@mrjelly : All figurines/cards except for Series 5 (aka Hello Amiibo) and the Sanrio set are compatible with Amiibo Festival.

I doubt that you would need an update in order to use any Series 2-4 amiibo, but I could be wrong.

In any case, Resetti should work update or no update.

I believe the game came out after all the series 1-4 cards had been released. Maybe?

As far a I know, the cards were made for Happy Home Designer first.

Edit: no, the latter series came out after Amiibo Festival had already released. Though it's likey they already had all the data required to read them coded beforehand, since it's not like the basic series introduced new characters or anything.

I can confirm ac amiibo cards series 1-4 work and a wave three ac amiibo works. This is with no updates and offline.
Tried this myself.
For this hardcore ac amiibo festival players (you know who you are) enjoy!
