I mean, it doesn't have every single player riding around in the same car, so I think it's safe to say that this is already better than Mario Party 10.
i'm going wait and see what this game will offer, i do honestly like try it because it has great looking graphics (and although im not much cared to any game's graphics) i do like how nintendo is trying something new with Animal Crossing despite of it being really disappointed

I don't see how people thought that Nintendo would make another AC full game for Wii U when they have the 3DS version which is huge and took forever to both develop and translate. Nintendo can only do so much. Most companies wouldn't have been able to handle 10% of what Nintendo is doing. They'd need a million employees to meet people's expectations.

I think the main reason why it was expected was because of the animal crossing plaza (or whatever it was called). It had a model for every animal that's existed in past games. Now for them to make all of these models and not create a game would really be a waste of time an money for Nintendo.
I myself don't think that they made all those models for amiibo festival either and a new animal crossing is still in the works. My guess is it just isn't in a state where it could've been shown at E3 this year but who knows. I could be completely wrong.
I spent my entire pre-E3 week thinking of ideas for Animal Crossing Wii U from the GamePad to the mayor to the town to new areas and THIS is what we got. I was literally unable to speak after watching this (and yes, I know that makes it sound pretty hilarious).
I will always remember this game as the one that basically destroyed E3 2015 for me and the chances for the game I was hoping to see the most this year: AN ACTUAL ANIMAL CROSSING GAME! It'll probably be one of the few Nintendo games I don't purchase. I wasn't the biggest fan of Mario Party 10 and the fact they're taking away minigames? Ok, great.

So apparently, there's other modes than just the board game. But don't expect an actual AC game, since this is free. Probably just more party related stuff

Wait... this is free?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

It said during the Event that an amiibo is required to play, so it would make sense for the software itself to be free.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I doubt it would be free, I could see it being a cheap download but not free.

Huge missed opportunity now that they have said you can transfer houses you made in Happy Home Designer to the game. Could have used this as a way to bridge that game with an actually Wii U version and amiibo. Instead we get this.
Can we please stop saying it's like Mario Party!? It looks more like Monopoly, in all honesty...granted, that doesn't make things any better, but still.
There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

According to Nintendo Treehouse, the game itself is free. The amiibos on the other hand, aren't.
