Looking over the comments section on http://www.egmnow.com/articles/reviews/egm-review-aliens-colo... I noticed many hateful messages written by people with their real-life Facebook accounts. It used to be that, before, people would write hateful swearing and trolling on the internet while hiding behind anonymous accounts. Now with Facebook you see people openly mobbing developers, reviewers, etc.

QUEEN OF SASS

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

On the one hand I see it only as natural that if you f. something up like that review that people will react to it and I actually see it as a good thing if people don't hide behind their anonymity anymore BUT considering the amount of hate those people throw at the reviewer with their full name it makes me wonder where society is heading. It's a game. It's a review. It's not like this guy just took away your right for clean water or to see your child!

Top 5 Indies I'd recommend you try: #1 Lovecraft's Untold Stories, #2 Moonlighter, #3 Hotline Miami, #4 Inside, #5 Into the Breach.

It can be called a review just barely. I read that shait and its more like something that could be written behind the games case.
I still wonder how much Sega has paid him.

And...it makes them look like complete losers to everyone online, not to mention their friends/family that will see their embarassing rant appear on their Facebook newsfeed.
