No, it's not going to sell but it's one of my most wanted WiiU games. I just hope enough people buy it for full online matches

I bet it won't. It seems to me like it is going to require all the buttons the WiiU GamePad has to offer. If Wii-remote support is your deciding factor then I am guessing you won't be happy.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I'm sounding like a broken record, but does anybody know if there's Wii remote pointer/nunchcuk support? Forget Rayman Legends getting a 7 month delay and going multiplatform. If Aliens and RE: Revelation don't support my precious & beloved pointer based control scheme i'll throw thee' most ultimate man-tantrum VideoLand has ever seen.

Control schemes should not persuade you a purchase.

Just for you.

But the majority of gamers want the traditional game controls. I wish more companies would try motion controls for many different games but if there is almost no demand then they won't supply.

Agree with @WaveBoy.
Playing an FPS with anything other than a keyboard and mouse or Wii remote just feels so danged awkward to me now. I like to hook up my laptop to my plasma TV with an HDMI cable, but as of now I don't have a decent wireless keyboard and mouse so I'm forced to use a 360 controller for a lot of first-person games if I decide to play on the big screen. It's a little distressing. Especially when I have to dumb down the difficulty on games to make up for the control limitations.

I have already got the PS3 version and I enjoy it. Might not be the greatest game ever but as a BIG Aliens fan its good enough for me!

Finished the ps3 version and have to say i'am very dissapointed, the game is extremely short (seriously like 5 - 6 hours) and looks/plays like something that released start of this gen, I really cant believe how much they (gearbox) mucked this up, there is a couple of scares in the first hour and thats it, in fact the rest of the game feels like it was developed by somebody else entirely and becomes a sub standard shooter with zero atmosphere. As I said earlier this is the ps3 version I've played so cant vouch for wii u but unless it's a completly different game I cant see how motion controls/gamepad would make a huge difference to the game. So dissapointed Seriously wait for the bargain bin for this one.

Edit: havent played much of the multiplayer (about 20 mins) so cant really say either way what its like but it seems like fun.

So, with all the truly awful reviews going around today about this game, I have "2" questions about the Wii U version, DO YOU THINK:

A) The Wii U version will now be canned?
B) The Wii U version will now be worked on a lot more and have lots of improvements, similar to what happened with Ninja Gaiden 3?

So what do you all think!

I'm kinda hoping that this game will also pull the "Ninja Gaidens" by releasing earlier on other platforms and then later a polished and buffed version for the Wii U.

Thanks for the beta test xbox fanboys.

If the game sells well on the other consoles, they'll just release it how it is to make a quick buck.

So sad Was really hoping for something epic so hopefully the WiiU version will deliver. Wish Retro would have done this game

Side note... has any developer who made an Aliens games ever bothered to watch the movie ? Did they happen to notice there was only one Alien on that ship and it wreaked havoc !! Crew was simply terrified at the thought of facing one much less hordes of them.

Sounds like you're thinking of the original Alien (note singular) and not its sequel Aliens which is the movie this game is based on.

True but these guys continue to miss the boat on what made Alien great. Maybe I am wrong and will still pick this up for Wii U but was hoping for something more... an experience like Dead Space (original) not Serious Sam.

Well, Jim Sterling from Destructoid gave it a 2.5/10. And he LOVES Aliens. So this doesn't look like a good buy, sad to say.
