So before the end of March and a different developer....
On a positive note, I also ordered from Tesco and complained, they kept saying it would arrive any day and credited me £5 bringing it down to £34 for limited edition. Anyway today they confirmed they messed up etc. and credited me another £15, that means when it does release I will have only paid £19!
I agree. this is bad news for the machine. im sorry nintendo but after a two year wait and now another unspecified delay , not to mention gearbox arnt actually doing the wii u version , il be playing this on my ps3
I also agree that this is really bad news for Nintendo and the Wii U, this is the sort of game that certainly has potential to attract more people into buying a Wii U, but you can pretty much bet that anyone with a PS3 or Xbox 360 will now get that version instead.
If Nintendo are going to compete when it comes to cross-platform games like this it's crucial that the Wii U version gets released at the same time as other versions, really big disappointment.
Unless I hear that the Wii U version is different enough and better than other versions then I will almost certainly now buy one of the other versions, such a shame.
As others state about its off to get it on my ps3 I think on the 12th Feb. Hate it when a different developer is doing the game on a brand new game. Makes me concerned.
Geez, the sniveling about just a little bit more wait or the "system is doomed" is pathetic and an over-reaction. I'm really in awe about how knee jerk folks are on this forum regarding the WII U. The Wii U version is needing more time because it has more potential with it's gamepad features and they are likely putting time into making it right. The "U" version is likely to be the coolest one. Folks need to chill out.
