Guys i come with some troubling news.... i went to eb today to pay off the 2 games i preordered for the wiiu. and i found out, that eb has not recieved enough wiiu deluxe model to fill all preorders.. fortunatly im the first on the list so i know will i get mine but there are at least 6 people who will need to wait till the 2nd shipment to get theirs... they told me that anyone who placed their order after sept 25th will have to wait.

this also likly means that most stores may not even have any wiius for those who didnt preorder

I checked with my GameStop two days ago and they assured me they're getting enough to fill all their preorders, but did mention that anyone who didn't preorder is out of luck, said they are getting exact numbers there. I'd be surprised if the shortage lasts the holiday season, Nintendo has only just started advertising and the public still seems oblivious to the Wii U's existence.

. My eb said the same thing 3 weeks ago. They said they were getting 21 units of each model... Which was enough for the preorders.. And today I found out they did not get the amount they thought they would... The GameStop in the same mall faired a little better with only 2 people having to wait till next shipment

You might want to stop by my joint first because I intercepted all shipments and I'm handing them out the back door for free... You can just follow the trail of broken WiiU dat fell off da back of da truck to find me.

I think it may just be your EB games. In USA at Gamestop, we have our Wii Us.

For a second there I thought this was a post about the shortage of Twinkies. For those not in the know, the Hostess workers went on a union strike and the factories are all closing.

I'm #1 and #2 at my preorder location. coworker is #3. We went straight there after the details became available during the Nintendo event.

Called my local gamestop and they confirmed they have enough consoles to meet all preorders! I'M GOOD tommorow!!!!!
