Anyone know anything more about the rumour the WiiU will be getting a port of advanced warfare?? Will be nice for those of uswho love NNintendo and playing there games but also want to play some mindless fps sometimes still hyped for splatoon but it would be nice to get to play this as well.
I do to but just a humour I heard and wondered if itwas ttrue. Sales figures co sidered it sure would be nice of them if they did so people like me could get to play it
Xbox One: 6.42%
PlayStation 4: 7.39%
Xbox 360: 55.45%
PlayStation 3: 30.42%
Wii U: 0.33%
I doubt that the CoD series will return to the Wii U.
That's just the sales in November, just three weeks after release of the game. It may have sold enough by now that they have concluded a belated port of AW could be profitable.
I hope it gets the port I know a lot of WiiU owners don't like CoD but there's also a lot that do. Seeing these games released does no harm to those who don't like it but means a lot to those that do like.
This was the first CoD I was interested in since Call of Duty 4. I would have gotten it if it came to Wii U. I doubt they will port it this late, unless the port is almost complete and they announce it soon I think it would be smarter just to port the next CoD game instead.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I hold onto the hope that the next Call of Duty game (seeing as they are now in a three year cycle) will have Treyarch working on a Wii U version.
Just a minor hope, I suspect more likely "business decisions" are stopping them for the time being. Though if Wii U sales grow significantly they may come back. Considering the first years library, there must be a hell of a lot of Wii U trained developers out there whom have only worked on one or two games.
200,000 sales is not a whole lot for game that sold 20+ million copies on XB/PS/PC (combined). It's difficult to make a business case for a game that won't sell a lot of copies. They can make a basic port (the Xbox 360 version would make a good starting point) but then people will complain that it's a lazy port.
But is 200,000 unit sales still profit for a "lazy port"?

I agree it would probably be a lazy port but at least if they are honest and say look here is a port of the360 vversion for all of you who don't own another console who want to play it I think there are people who would see this act of goodwill ajd buy i lt as that is what it would be rather than a serious money maker an act of goodwill.
I'm not saying WiiU owners should all be grateful for a lazy port but for those who really want to playit iI think they would at least feel they haven't been forgotten completely.
lol mega corporations don't make acts of goodwill like that.. if Nintendo did they would've made more of the rare amiibo's and Smash adaptors!
can't you play shooters on PC?
I can, but CoD is a console experience, not a PC experience. Plus it is the type of game I would want to sell once I am done with it and not have it on my Steam account for the rest of my life
