Who else would like such a thing to exist? I sure would. With actual professional voice actors and movie grade animation of course. If not a full blown movie, at least some 10 minute or so shorts like Nintendo did with the Kid Icarus: Uprising themed animes would be the most awesome thing to see. I can already picture the likes of Marth in it (since he did have a two episode long anime back before Fir Emblem was known well outside of Japan). It would seem to be quite a long shot, but you never know. And seeing that Bowser is going to have a spotlight in a big movie (Wreck-it Ralph) later this year, we can't rule out such possibilities!

Biggest Smash Bros. and Pikmin fan on NL!

Pikmin fact of the week: The Pearly Clamclamps in Pikmin 1 can still attack and eat Pikmin even after being defeated. They are the only creatures in the game able to do so.

No. There is an unofficial play though. I saw some of it on Youtube a while back. Marth only spoke in Japanese.

Best thread ever

No, please. Trying to make a decent story of a crossover gamer whith no story only makes really bad fanfics.

Let us not judge a man by the colour of his skin, but by the character he chooses to battle with in Brawl.

Fight scenes could be epic.

Agreed, but without any substantial plot surrounding the anime, I'd find it rather unenjoyable to just have meaningless brawls about willy-nilly, as intriguingly hardcore as they may get.

If it can be like the Kid Icarus Uprising shorts on Nintendo Video, I'm all for it. Nintendo should do that more.

At least SOMEBODY is liking the idea! :p And I'm also thinking regular animation as well, not just anime.

I would love it. As Long as it's something like the videos of Subspace Emissary.

But all other forms of animation are inferior, except for maybe traditional hand drawn animation, but western animators have become too lazy to actually put any effort into what they do.

Now it's all CGI, which looks good, but lacks soul, and Flash, which is utter cr@p.

Classics like Lion King, Alladin, Lady & the Tramp, and the like are better than any of the soulless CGI films we have now.

I think it matters of what Studio it is.

I'll admit that a talented studio can make great CGI films. Pixar is the best in this regard (Toy Story 3 was pretty great), but IMO, they still lack that certain magic that can only be found in great hand drawn animation (I just watched the Girl Who Leapt Through Time, an anime film, a few weeks ago, and it felt like a breath of fresh air in a CGI dominated industry).

As for Flash, I'll never accept it as legitimate.
