Topic: A Game Staring Waluigi

Waluigi has only really seen the light of day in Mario spin offs such as Mario sport anything and Mario Party. However I think it this guy deserves his own game. There use to be a time in history when Wario wasnt a well established character and eventually got his own series. He also turned into a fairly loved Nintendo character. Waluigi could do the same. After all, Tingle got his own game.

I was thinking he should have a game based in Neon bowser city where he was a thief and he was in a gang of thief's, he didn't know he had a brother (he found out later in the game and of course it's wario) and the police are after him and his gang. Gameplay could be a bit like gta or Jak and daxter 2/3 and you can take hover karts, the game would be in the past.

Where is Waluigi originally from?

Never cared much for Waluigi personally, but I think it might be because he gets so little love in the first place. I kind of shrugged off this idea at first, but I though for another minute, and I changed my mind. This is actually a pretty cool idea!

Mario Tennis on the N64, Camelot wanted a double for Luigi in the double matches. I think that's a lot of the reason he doesn't get very much attention, not really being made my Nintendo.

Wanting this too....dunno how it would work though. Like, it may still be a platformer, but isn't your normal Mario platformer game...and Wario already does this...Sooo, yah I dunno...Nintendo could think of something...IF THEY WOULD DO IT! lol

Waluigi right now is not so widely loved, but overall I could actually see him get his own game on the WiiU, or maybe the 3DS. I do like him personally and I would most likely get his game if he was the star.

Darn it, I thought this thread was announcing that there was an actual Waluigi game coming out...
Anyways, I've been wanting this for so long! Waluigi is so unloved.

Even if it's just a puzzle game or something, Waluigi deserves his own game. I really like him, and I was very annoyed when he was replaced in MK7 by freaking Honey Queen...

What would be the plot of his game?

I will never understand why anyone would want a game starring this non-character, nor why anyone thinks that he "deserves" a game.
Just makes no sense to me at all.

If it wasn't for the fact that Wario, who basically started out as just an anti-Mario, got his own franchise and otherwise became very popular, then the lack of a Waluigi centric title wouldn't bother me. It justs seems a little unfair considering they both had similar beginnings (though admittedly Waluigi's is less original then Wario's) yet one gets turned into a big star while the other is stuck to party/sports spin-offs.

Wario should really bring Waluigi on one of his Adventures, or tell him to make some games at WarioWare or something, Waluigi needs some time in the spotlight.

It's pretty fair when you consider Mario's own brother, in the 25+ years the Mario games have existed, has only ever had 3 of his own games. This is supposedly the year of luigi, yet besides luigi's mansion 2 every game has Mario in it.

But even so Luigi at least is playable in many of the mainstream Mario games, like the Galaxies, New, 3D Land/World, ect. and all around has a much bigger presence, whereas Waluigi is only in whatever spin-off sport/party game is on offer. If nothing else he should at least in a WarioWare game seeing his (still not fully explained) relationship with Wario.

There should really be a year of Waluigi.

My sole request for the next Wario Land game, if we are ever so lucky as to get another one, is that Nintendo keep Waluigi the heck out of it.

Really? Because I'd really like to see the next Wario Land to have the option to play as Waluigi, or even co-op with Wario and Waluigi.
