Haha, tru. People get so silly about HD. Morrowind HD would be such an endeavor, though. Almost easier just to make a new game. I feel like Skyrim should get the Final Fantasy 7 Remake treatment, like, 20 years from now.
That being said, I could really go for an Elder Scrolls game right now. Nothing else scratches that fantasy adventure itch quite like Zelda and Elder Scrolls, and 2012 was the last time we got anything new from either of those.
Ok so here's what we know so far for Nintendo:
. Only Zelda playable at E3
. No NX talk at all
. No Digital Event
. Treehouse Live for Zelda occurs on Tuesday 14th in the usual Digital Event slot
. The stream is only an hour (9-10am Pacific)
. A presentation for business partners is also happening at the same time (9-10am Pacific) which talks about key launches and programs in holiday 2016
@Grumblevolcano: Yeah, that's pretty much it. That behind the scenes stuff happens each year, and the press gets their hands on some exclusive games that are not on the show floor. Unfortunately, that isn't really interesting for us. It's just an hour of Zelda livestream.
Honestly I think Nintendo needs new leadership as Kimishima seems to be taking Nintendo back to the stone age...
In fairness he's handling what Iwata put in motion, if the games and consoles he has got to promote right now aren't ready now for release this year then a year ago when Iwata was in charge there was a lack of foresight from the company then not now.
It could be the NX and/or it's launch titles aren't ready to be shown and the Pokemon Company wants to handle Sun/Moon themselves which leaves Colour Splash, Tokyo Shin Emblem Sessions #Fire and Federation Force which are lagely be dismissed as even Ninty fans 100% backing them but it is putting all the eggs in one basket.
Personally I think Nintendo World Championships should come back and make it a celebration of Nintendo. Round 1 a speed run on a Super Mario Bros. 3 level the for Nes, round 2 a Mario Kart race on the SNES, round 3 a Pokemon Staduim battle on the N64, round 4 Smash Bros on the NGC, round 5 tennis on Wii Sports on the Wii and round 6 Splatoon on the Wii U.

I think it is too early to be talking like that. He hasn't really gotten to do anything. NX will launch will be his first main project, currently he is just trying to handle what Iwata left behind. I am interested to see what happens with the NX launch.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

It definitely is much too early to judge him. He's changing things, but only at a corporate level so far. Plus, not sure how he's taking them back to the stone age. If anything he's actually having them change (hopefully for the better) which arguably should have been done ages ago
@Operative: I'm talking about the absolute radio silence they've been giving the press and their fans since Iwata's passing. It feels like the late 90's Nintendo all over again...
@Neko_Ichigofan: We will see how it plays out but it seems Nintendo wasn't as ready as Iwata had thought. Now the new President is trying to line things up for a better launch for the NX and a better future for Nintendo. Or he could just be running Nintendo into the ground, we will just have to wait and see what happens

Not to mention the fact that there's tons of upcoming high-profile indie games and a few AAA Wii U titles releasing this year, not to mention many high-profile retail 3DS releases as well and Nintendo is giving them all a big middle finger by not promoting them at E3 in ANY capacity...
@Randomname19
It is a Zelda Direct basically. It will last a hour, then Treehouse Live will cover other stuff the rest of the 3 days. That other stuff could possibly just be more Zelda stuff, but they could sneak in some other games too.
