Too lazy to write 'em out when I have a perfectly good BL to do it.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

NES:
Super Mario Bros. - A Classic game that somehow seems to hold up even after all these years. 8,0
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels - Very similar to the first one but insanely difficult. 8,0
Super Mario Bros. 2 - Different but a great and challenging game in its own right. 8,5
Super Mario Bros. 3 - The greatest sidescroller ever if you ask me. Combines the gameplay of the first one with the graphics and level diversity of the second game. And then there's the cool power-ups. 9,5
Mega Man - The first game in the series and one of the harder ones. Beating all the robot masters is nothing too difficult if you figure out the proper order to beat them. After that, though, there's some pretty insane stuff in the Dr. Wily levels. Ver fun to play still. 8,0
Mega Man 2 - An excellent sequel. It improves upon the first game since it's longer and adds a save function. There is also some support items like a jet or a platform that you can create. This one is probably the best to start with the series as it is easier than 1,3 or 9 on WiiWare while still posing a great challenge. 9,0
Mega Man 3 - Another great mega man game. I didn't like it as much as Mega Man 2 though. But that's probably my personal preference. Many people think this one is the best. This is when the formula was still being perfected before getting fleshed out. One of the more interesting inclusions is the replacement of the support items by Rush, a robot dog. This is much cooler and easier to understand than just item-1, item-2 etc.
The Legend of Zelda - Dungeon crawling epicness was just as fun as it is now when it was in 8-bit. Just keep a guide ready because if you don't know all the (very well hidden) secrets, you'll be in for a rough ride. 8,0
Kirby's Adventure - This game is built upon the Mario 3 power-up mechanic but in a much more sophisticated way. Just like on the Game Boy Kirby can swallow up enemies but now he can obtain their powers. The game in itself is just easy but because of the HUGE amount of transformations it is very replayable to make up for that. One of the last, but also best and prettiest NES games. - 8,5

Super NES:
Donkey Kong Country - Not much different from Mario gameplay but that is this game's strong point, because this game has some great level design. And it's a gorgeous game made with pre-rendered 3D models making it the prettiest SNES game of its time. 9,0
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest - The gameplay from the first one + pirates = EPIC WIN! 9,0
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble - I found the shop mechanics a little distracting and other than that its pretty much the same thing as before. Great, but try the first two games first. 8,5
Super Metroid - Some excellent spritework, adventurous gameplay, and a large open-ended sidescrolling world make for one of the greatest games ever. It's also much more forgiving than the first two without making you feel like you are being kept on the beaten path. And the soundtrack is just fantastic. 9,5

Nintendo 64:
Mario Kart 64 - Its courses are a bit bland when compared to later games in the series and for some reason Nintendo didn't take the time to emulate a memory card file so you cannot save ghost data. Still great fun to be had though, and a blast to play with friends. 8,0
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - This is kinda hard to say. You have a time limit to complete this quest. There are three days in which you need to save the land of Termina from destruction. If you fail, the moon falls on te earth and you're dead with everone in the whole land. You can, however, use your Ocarina to travel back in time to save yourself or slow down time to have more time. If you go back to day one, however, you lose your items and any money not on your bank account. and all the quests get reset. While you usually don't have to do anything twice if you know what you are doing, you feel pressured which is irritating. On the other hand, the time mechanics are implemented so cleverly, you might just wanna look past all that. I suggest getting Ocarina of Time first, especially if you're new to Zelda. This game will be more enjoyable if you played that one anyway. Anyway, I still give it a: 9,0

WiiWare:
Mega Man 9 - Not only plays but also looks like an NES Meg Man. I suggest playing Mega Man 2 first because this one is pretty damn hard. It's also a LOT of fun though. Paying for downloadable content is stupid. 9,0
