One more casualty, this time is the NES Yoshi's Cookie. As I uderstood from the message at "Important Notices" at the Wii Shop Channel, it will be completly deleted from the servers as they suggest that if you want to buy or re-download, do so before Friday October 18th 2013 9:00 AM.
I wonder if this also happened to the C64 games, can someone who bought them before the August removal still download them?

Yes, if you bought them you can downloaded again.
I saw yesterday the Wii shop and Yoshi´s Cookies is not on America service, I will check again then.

The problem is the statement says if you purchased this game and want to re-download, do it before October 18th. It sounds to me they are removing it completely.
By the way, I think it wasn't some days ago but it's now on, I remember it's been a while since the last page at the NES selection only showed Zoda´s Revenge, not it shows that one and Zelda II which indicate something was added. It's kind of odd. If they did this because they'll remove it completely from the servers, I hope they do the same with other removed games at least to have another shot at buying them but at the same time, I also hope the complete removal won't become mandatory for every item previously delisted.
