Yes. If they were released alongside Genesis games and kept to 800 points like Genesis games are then I think they would do well; it wouldn't matter if it originally wasn't that much of an improvement over the Genesis. And there's not that many games on the 32X they could release anyway.

I think its just a matter of time before we see 32x games on the VC. I would get them. The 32x has some good arcade ports of Virtua Fighter, Racing, Star Wars, Mortal Kombat II, and Wrestlemania Arcade

Not really. The only 32X game I want is Knuckles Chaotix. The rest of the very small library of games is of no interest to me. I'd rather have Sega CD games on VC.

I'm unaware of any 32X titles I'd actually want outside of Star Trek Starfleet Academy: Starship Bridge Simulator, which I'd only get because I'm such a Trek whore. Possibly Star Wars Arcade, but I don't recall being terribly impressed with that on-rails shooter.

Just Knuckle Chatoix and then it should be part of the Sega Genesis library so people who don't look up gaming information much won't have to be exposed to the notrious system.

I would want it just for Knuckles Chatoix. That's one of the only Sonic games I don't have.

Tempo was pretty decent too, also had a good spiderman game, but since its licensed chances of seeing it aren't good, despite its poor reputation the 32X did have a handful of decent titles.

That would be cool actually. I guess is more easy to have 32X games than Sega CD ones.

To be honest, all systems are welcome, even the ill-fated ones have a couple of gems worth a check.

Yes, I've been hoping for 32X support since the VC was revealed. I've been able to get the Arcade version of one of my favorite 32X games, Space Harrier, but I still want to play Star Wars: Arcade and Motocross Championship again (my 32X broke years ago). I also want to try Knuckles Chaotix.

I would welcome the arrival of Sega 32X games on Virtual Console, I've got fond memories of playing right through my friend's copy of Virtua Racing Deluxe, even if it has been surpassed by the Saturn version, I also have a Sega Ages version of this on PS2 Sega Classics Collection.I would really like to give Star Wars Arcade a whirl.I like the idea of a Star Wars on-rails shooter, although as @Sean_Aaron acknowledges, it may be disappointing all these years on.
I am also intrigued by Afterburner Complete, the You Tube vids look really smooth, although I confess to being one of the worlds worst Afterburner players, I could "roll", but I could never work out its dynamics, it always seemed more random and chaotic than Space Harrier. "It'd be more fun if I was good at it!".
Get the Flash Player to see this player.
Speaking of 'chaos', I am basically agreeing with most of the above posts, it would be smart to play Knuckles' Chaotix, since it was sadly missing from the GCN/ PS2 Sonic Gems Collection.
"Here I come to save the day!"... oh wait, that is Mighty Mouse, not Mighty the Armadillo! ;)

I would be up for this if Nintendo would release only the decent games from the system, but is this what Nintendo would do, probably not. Games such as the Sonic games would probably sell well though as most people never got to experience these games.

I'd rather have Sega CD TBH, but I wouldn't exactly boo Nintendo and Sega if they decided to make a 32X VC happen. All are welcome!

If it means I can finally play Knuckles Chaotix for the first time and still ponder about the beta ROM Sonic Crackers, then YES!!!

Well, actually there are a few decent 32X games... Personally I'd actually enjoy getting Virtua Racing Deluxe... I know it's kinda crap by today's standard, but as the first 3D arcade racer (as far as I know), there's plenty of history there and I still from time to time give the rom a whirl for a few minutes once in a while. Other than that, well obvious Chaotix... Star Wars Arcade is apparently a classic for some people. Virtua Fighter 32X is probably the best port of that game. Kolibri is a decent free roaming (like Fantasy Zone) shmup and most importantly, the main character is a kolibri which makes it so much more awesome. A few decent multi-format titles, chief among them Blackthorne, although I'm unsure if it's better than the SNES version. And while it's not really extraordinary in any way, seeing as some people seem to have inappropriate amount of love for mediocre platformers here on the site (cough*Mr.Nutz*cough), I might aswell mention Tempo too. It might not be memorable in any way really, but I'm sure there are people out there that would find it very enjoyable.

I guess so. But a lot of the games were ports of arcade games. SEGA needs to focus releasing them on the VC Arcade anyways.
There are a few they could release though, just not nothing like Virtua Fighter or Afterburner Complete.

No, I'd rather have the Sega Cd.

The 32x is a game console that I regret that I got as a Christmas gift back in 1994. The system has good games, I don't think it should on the vc for the following reasons:

  • some of the games release were are also on other systems that were already released on the vc or could be.
  • 16 out of the 31 released games in North America can't be released on the vc due to companies not supporting the vc, or licenses not for Lucas arts, or 3d companies are dead.
  • has arcade games in it's library that can be released on the vc arcade section. See After Burner, Space Harrier, Star Wars Arcade, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing Deluxe.
