I do not believe that there are more N64 games coming because of the SD-Card Update. Although this actually is a pity. There are many I would like to have. It seems to be too complicated to port N64 games proper and failure-free to another system. I remember how I played the Gamecube port of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It crashed every 15-30 minutes or so. I think N64 emulation is still a big problem and emulating other systems like the SNES oder Sega Mega Drive is apparently much easier.
It is such a pity that Rare are now in bed with Microsoft. So many games that I loved were developed by Rare (Goldeneye being the obvious example). If Goldeneye was released on VC, it would mean that Microsoft would be making money off nintendo. Stop being so competitive Nintendo & Microsoft and just start making money!
Anyway back on topic, I don't think the SD card issue should make that big a difference. You could always just re-download games for free meaning space was never an insurmountable issue. I still need to download Sin & Punishment, Mario 64 and Majora's Mask, but it was never storage capacity that stopped me, just cost. If I wanted those three games, which I do, I would be looking at about AU$50 (thats Australian dollars) and then finding the time to play them. I'm sure Nintendo will eventually release many more N64 games, but its easier to sell cheaper games that are also probably easier to convert/emulate. You have to remember that while Nintendo does like their fans, they like their shareholders better. Revenue before popularity with fans.

Whoa, let's not start that debate again, especially since it's no longer relevant.

I sure hope that N64 releases pick up now, I'd love Treasure's Bakuretsu Muteki Bangioh myself. After Sin & Punishment there is every chance we'll get another Treasure import!
I don't know. Sorry to be pessimistic, but I think they were just testing the waters, preparing us for the sequel (which I really look forward to!).
Ah don't say that! After Bangai-O Spirits (DS) I would really expecting Treasure might treat us to the excellent N64 version onn VC import.
I hate to be negative but i don't think so. the sd card solution i doubt fixes the controller pak problem so games that required the memory card likely wont be released. that said i do expect games like excitebike 64 and donkey kong 64 sooner rather than later.

I don't see any increase in N64 emulation on VC because of storage space being available now. Sorry.
Sadly, you were correct. Although we are still expecting Majora's Mask to come out in America in two weeks. And only Nintendo knows how long we'll have to wait for Smash Bros to come to the VC.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
