This kind of reminds me of the DVD regional coding. I remember years ago I imported some DVDs from Europe that were released there in region 2 but not in US in region 1 and they were American films too. They should at least give a release list of games that are coming out each month like in Japan that way EU and NA gamers won't be anticipating certain games each week and get disappointed. I hate having to turn on my PC on Mondays just to see what came out.
In a way I kind of like not having a monthly list. The updates on Mondays are the highlight of my day, even if it is a bad VC game, cause then I get a good laugh. I don't think they do a list probably because they don't know their self what will be coming out from one Monday to another, just my oppinion.
Nintendo America and Nintendo Europe are two different companies with their own agenda.
You don't think one will be calling the other asking what they're releasing that week so they can too. Besides, the two countries probably don't care as much what the other is releasing that week like we do. What Europe does wouldn't really affect the America market and vice versa.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
Yes, the executives are sitting there so they can be lazy. The localizers and PR, not you Cammie, aren't though because they have real work. We all know all Cammie does is talk about her son's "hardcore" games and read a script.
If every region got the game games at the same time, you could easily go months without getting anything at all, since Nintendo of Japan, who would have the final say in what went up, would still release texty Japanese-only games they'd never consider viable for imports.
