Topic: What's taking so long for Donkey Kong 64 to come to VC?

If they released Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3 to VC in 2007 that means Rareware in this case has nothing to do with why DK 64 is taking so long. Will this game ever come out on the VC?

I didn't even know there was a Donkey Kong 64.

We have only just seen Super Smash Bros. recently and America has yet to get it. N64 games aren't released that often so of course it will take a while to see the games.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I really wish Nintendo would smarten up with 64 releases...

i want popular games, not games i haven't heard of. Like with Sin and Punishment, still with JAP text in it. They should bring games like the Mario Partys, Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64. And I would love to see a Pokemon Stadium

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Better yet. Where are all the 3rd party N64 games?

I might as well say it since I know this is coming but people have claimed that not many third-party devs have jumped on the bandwagon to support N64 releases but I know that's not true as in, I can already name a few games that we should already have.

A lot of N64 games are just as good as, if not better than, most retail games. Nintendo could make tons of money if they released them regularily, yet they continue to release games nobody's heard of.

You shouldn't have done that.

I don't know why not, but it's in the hands of Micro$oft now. They own Rare, if they don't want a release, a release isn't going to happen.

But Donkey Kong is still owned by Nintendo, meaning it's partially their descision too.

But Nintendo wants it released, they like the money it prints. Micro$oft owns the coding and because Nintendo can want it released all they want but Micro$oft makes the final decision.

We need to come up with a way to incorporate the dollar sign into Nintendo because of how much money they make.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for Donkey Kong 64. I've never played it but I'm interested in playing a Donkey Kong game in 3D. Why weren't there any games like that for NGC or Wii. DK64 should be about a decade old by now.

Remember back when there was a new N64 game every month or two or three? Now it's like 2 a year...

What the hell happened? Is there a shortage?

Nintendo need to get their heads out of their butts when it comes to vc in general. Only one every week is bullchips.

The reason Donkey Kong 64 may have trouble coming to the VC is simple.
Everybody seems to have forgotten that there is a port of Jetpac in Donkey Kong 64.
Now,who is Jetpace owned by? You guessed right,Microsoft and Rare.
It's petty reasons like this that has almost ruin the future of the VC.

But it does not use that brandname. It is branded as Donkey Kong, which is owned by Nintendo. The DKC series are also available on VC but were designed by Rare.

Nintendo are liars. It was supposed to always be 2(insert 8-bit or 16-bit console here) each week and 1 N64 release each month. They did this intially, but then abruplty changed their release schedule, screwing us all in the process.
