This is the lawsuit I was talking about. It says that they span the control stick with certain mini-games, they had to give out gloves for the people who owned that game ect, ect, ect. Still I always will prefer mario party 1 over 2. Just like most n64 games on the vc they have like no chance except for mario party 3 sadly. (Don't get me wrong, I love mario party 3 also)

AFAIK nobody actually sued Nintendo, but what happened is that people were using the controller differently than Nintendo wanted.
They intended players to use their thumb to rotate the Control Stick quickly to play many of the minigames.
But many players found it easier to place their hand flat on top of the Control Stick and move it around. Many players reported getting blisters doing that.
In response Nintendo offered free protective gloves to players who wished to continue playing that way.

I see, just a few questions kingmike:
1) Do you believe that it mario party 1 was planned then cancelled? (I don't personally)
2) Do you want mario party 1 on the wii vc, If so do you think that game has a chance? (I want it, but it will never happen sadly.)
& 3) not to be rude but can I have proof of what you said about them not getting sued if you have any? (that's fine if you don't I was just checking)

Yeah King Mike was right no one sued Nintendo for Mario Party one they were but Nintendo decide to settle out of court part of that settlement was giving out gloves. Here's a link where they said the settled out of court.

I would like to see Gargoyle's Quest II from the NES to come to VC. I loved the original GB game but had never played its sequel. Who else is with me?

I have the a complete copy of Gargoyles Quest II and Demon's Crest (Gargoyles Quest III , I guess) and they are worth every penny. Awesome games.

As much as I love D4 Enterprise supporting the VC so much lately, I'd like to see almost anything from a different publisher. The VC may as well be called the Virtual Neo Geo these days. Buuuuuuut... if all we can get is Neo Geo games, I'd like to see Pulstar and Windjammers, or basically anything other than fighting games and Metal Slug games.

At this point I really want to see Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma. I also agree with what @brooks83 said, I don't like fighting games and already have Metal Slug Anthology, so some different Neo Geo games would be nice too. Specifically its shumps.

I'm still hoping SNES Prince of Persia makes it over to NA.

Would love to see that but I believe Konami owns the rights now since they bought and dissolved Hudson, and we know how good Konami is at releasing games for the VC.

Coincidentally, the only game on you list that can come to the Virtual Console (well, the 3DS Virtual Console) is Harvest Moon, and that's already been confirmed.

I know this game is on a collection but

I already have the playstation version on the megaman x collection but I know no one will agree with me but... I just find the snes version superior over the psx version because of the music.
