@3DSneedsRPGs "Metroid 2: Return of Samus" was exclusively for the Gameboy. I guess you ment for 3DS VC sorry? I believe there is a 3DS VC thread. But I wish it was on the NES. I played that game for many, many hours as a child and loved it. I never completed it though, because I always stuck and couldn't move on any further. I am currently playing the original. I'm trying to find explore every undocumented area.
N64 -Jet Force Gemini. -Body Harvest. -Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
3DS VC -Mario vs Donkey Kong.(GBA) -Metroid Fusion.(GBA) -Metroid Zero Mission.(GBA) -Metal Gear Solid. -Oracle of Ages/Season. -Shantae. -Final Fantasy Adventure/ Mystic Quest. -Super Mario Land 2.

NES: Mother SNES: Earthbound Lufia and the fortess of doom Lufia II: rise of the sinistrals N64: Mario party 3 Banjo-Kazooie Banjo-Tooie Donkey Kong 64 Conker's bad fur day Perfect dark Jet force gemini Mega man legends Earthworm Jim 3D Star wars: rogue squadron Tom and Jerry: fists of fury
I know most of these are highly unlikely but it would be great if they did get a wii vc release (thats if they haven't abandoned the wii vc in Europe) and you're probably either laughing at me or thinking "WTF?" at that last one but I remember it being a decent game and saw some positive reviews of it on the internet when I looked to see if it was actually as good as I remembered it.
The only ones I can think of are Star Fox and Live a Live.
Agreed, though Live-a-Live would have to be translated. Speaking of which, I'm pleasently surprised to see someone else here who knows of it. know this is a little late but you can buy the repro game in english here: http://www.gamereproductions.com/products.php?product=Live%25...
oldgamesonly, dang man, why did you not tell me about this site sooner?

Star Fox 2?
Sadly I dont even think there was a finished version of Star Fox 2. It ended up being cancelled due to Nintendo shifting focus from the SNES to the N64. I have heard though that they did recycle some ideas from Star Fox 2 into Star Fox 64 and the DS Star Fox.

Wasn't there an article posted here (or maybe it was kotaku) a month or two ago. In an interview with one of the Argonaut guys, he said Miyamoto was afraid reviewers would compare StarFox 2 to newer consoles (probably PlayStation) and then give it bad reviews. (maybe it was that good that they'd want to make an unfair comparison? )

Dont remember reading that, but that is just silly. How many great games come out near the end of a consoles life? Also, since when did Nintendo worry a whole lot about reviews. Whatever their reason may be, it makes me one sad panda. And that copy is not complete you say? I may be less interested now in dropping a Benjamin on it.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery

Yeah I would be very wary of that Rhyno. Star Fox 2 is only accessible through illegal means. The Japanese version of Star Fox 2 was complete minus some debugging tools that werent removed, but even it was that far it was never released commercial. If you do find a cartridge of it on Ebay or somewhere like that its a fake and who knows if it will do damage to your system.
Supposedly DK Arcade was programmed by a third party so Nintendo doesn't have the copyright on the code. But a good question is why Nintendo hasn't made the restored NES version available on VC. It's pretty stupid to ask people to buy a PAL Mario Edition Wii just for that game (especially in NA, where you'd need converters and good luck finding a PAL TV ).
