How do you figure the Super Off-Road games have a good chance of coming, and Bomberman doesn't?Leland (SOR's developer) went out of business over 15 years ago while Hudson still exists.(supposedly, Midway owned the rights afterwards, but even then the odds of Midway games on VC are apparently not good)
383. Posted: Fri 1st Jul 2011 19:09 BST
I didn't know that.
I just assumed that Bomberman won't come because we already have more expensive Bomberman games and Super Off Road can act as filler.

How does Mega man 7 not have a good chance of coming to vc?
385. Posted: Fri 1st Jul 2011 23:38 BST
It's rare and Mega Man X is already out.
386. Posted: Fri 1st Jul 2011 23:53 BST
No good reason. Mega Man 7 will be out after Mega Man 6 is out.
And knowing HUDSON being extremely supportive of VC, many of the other Bomberman games (especially the NES, SNES, N64 and TG ones) will all be on VC one day.

For N64 I would like to see: Blast Corps, Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Road Rash 64, Excitebike 64, Quest 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Wipeout 64, Earthworm Jim 3D, Ridge Racer 64, Turok 1&2, Chopper Attack, Megaman 64, Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, ShadowGate 64: Trials of the Four Towers, Southpark, Spiderman, Cruis'n World, Cruis'n Exotica and Resident Evil 2: And I don't care if Resident Evil 2 would consume a bunch of blocks. For NES I would like to see: Eartbound Zero, Battle Toads, Paper Boy, Fester's Quest, Spiderman, Batman, Gremlins, Dream Master, The Adventures of Gilligan's Island, Beetlejuice, Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure, Double Dragon 2&3, Joe and Mac, Marble Madness, TMNT 2&3 and Knight Rider for nostalgic reasons. For SNES I would like to see: Bobby's World, Chuck Rock, The Death and Return of Superman, Inspector Gadget, Killer Instinct, Paper Boy 2, Earthbound, Marvel Superheroes: War of the Gems, Beavis and Butthead and Mortal Kombat 2-4. For Sega Gen. I would like to see: Primal Rage, Mortal Kombat, Aladdin for nostalgic reasons, Beavis and Butthead. Ugh, Exile sucked. At least it did on the Sega Genesis.
I've noticed a lot of people on these forums seem to have no love for hybrid games. I liked Exile because it's similar to that awesome arcade game, Cadash, and the other half of the game is a top down RPG. The arcade combat was especially nice back in the early 90's when random battles and turn based combat came standard in RPGs.
...in my pants.

Well, the problem was that the action sequenses were terrible. If it is like Cadash, I'll be staying away from that game. It was so stiff, and had other problems that I can't formulate at the moment.

Was Super Offroad a top down derby style racer, with Monstertrucks? I used to love playing it all the time in this dry bar, when I was 8-10 yrs. old. That would have been in the late 80's or early 90's. There were nitro upgrades and other powerups like that.

It looks a little genaric. I remember the trucks being bigger and the racing track was larger and a lot more detailed. The graphics were a lot better as well. But like I said I played it on an arcade machine. Back in the late 80's or early 90's. But at the beginning of the YouTube video, when the person was buying the upgrades did look very familar. So I guess it depends on how much was lost in the ported SNES version. Because I'm really not sure now.

@3DSneedsRPGs "Metroid 2: Return of Samus" was exclusively for the Gameboy. I guess you ment for 3DS VC sorry? I believe there is a 3DS VC thread. But I wish it was on the NES. I played that game for many, many hours as a child and loved it. I never completed it though, because I always stuck and couldn't move on any further. I am currently playing the original. I'm trying to find explore every undocumented area.
