I would like to see Bionic Commando on the VC, but that's not happening...

@RetroWarrior: SEGA supports the VCA so there's still a chance of seeing it, although at this rate it won't be happening anytime soon sadly.

I wish Microsoft hadn't been so greedy and purchased Rare.
Unless it was Rare who needed it to avoid bankruptcy or something.

From my understanding the guys that founded Rare wanted to move on to other things so they just sold it to Microsoft. I am not sure if other companies like Nintendo or Sony made any offers and Microsofts was the best offer or what.

The trilogy that has Soul Blazer in it would be nice. I've played some of it before and it was fun and I hear that Terranigma is pretty amazing.

I'd like to see the Mega Man X games & Crystalis.
Flandre Scarlet, she's cute, she's colorful, she can blow up entire cities, she's also a vampire. Start running sparklepants.

Where in gods name is Splatterhouse 3 for the Genesis?1 and 2 are available, but where's 3? I'm pretty sure Splatterhouse 2 made it's debut on the VC around 2 years ago because I remember downloading it on my 24th Birthday and reading up one of IGN's review.
Anyways I guess I'm going to have to forget about everything Ninja Turtle or Disney related regarding Nes, Snes and Genesis VC games like Castle of Illusion, TMNT II and TMNT IV: Turtles in time, Duck Tales, you get the idea.

Nintendo owned 50% of Rare [the Stamper brothers owned the other 50%], and it was their decision to sell the company to Microsoft.

There was a master system game called teddy boy that I liked a lot as a kid, could all be down to nostalgia I suppose but I'd love to try it again.
there's nothing that's certain... of that you can be certain

I'd really like to see the NES version of Ghosts N Goblins! Great Arcade game, but I'm more nostalgic for the Nintendo version.

I heard elsewhere here that it's up to Rare whether to ask Nintendo to re-release games. Microsoft isn't preventing the re-releases, it's just that Nintendo and Rare don't get along right now.
258. Posted: Tue 11th Jan 2011 02:14 GMT
Microsoft owns the rights to all of Rare's original IPs [Conker, Banjo, Perfect Dark, etc.]. These games will never come out on Nintendo platforms, unless Nintendo & Microsoft make a deal and share the profits. Yes I know there were GBA & DS games made by Rare, but that's because Microsoft isn't competing in the handheld market.

Nintendo and Rare still get along. They have said so in recent interviews I can't be bothered to find at the moment. If anyone's skeptical, I'll look.
