Tetris Plus was indeed awesome. Also, Boy and his Blob 2?? I had no idea!! If Babbage's still existed, I'd call them to complain right now for never having this on shelves when I was a kid.
I'm suprized that this game got released in Japan first... I didn't even think the Japanese got into these games...
EDIT: Oh and to top off my list of games, onto GBA games that I would suggest, since they've now put Art Style games on the Wii and DS, I think it would be logically to put the Bit Generation (Art Style's Original name in Japan) games in there such as Orbital, DotStream (Awesome game btw!), Sound Voyager, and Coloris.
Wouldn't it be cool if the original GB games would be released in colour? and no no I don't mean Pallette swapping like on the Super GameBoy and the GBC; I mean actual work on it and give my childhood memories of my GB games in full colour!
Holy dang! I would love to play a full colour version of Super Mario Land!
>.> Just a FYI article. To be honest, the one thing that "could" get me to buy a DSi is to play the Wii VC games onto my DSi.
I really think that's being taken out of context, and I'd presume it to mean that it's not public info at this time. Time will tell though.
Again, it was just a "For your information" article, I feel they might bring in a VC for the DSi, but right now they just have no plans. Sadly, this should of been a forethought idea to begin with.

Eh. that would require work on Nintendo's part though which I don't think they'll do. Best to hope for a Super Mario Land remake for the WiiWare if you want it in full color.
The gamegear had a few Shinobi games, haven't played those in years so would make great DSI VC games, I think it had a pretty decent Streets of Rage 2 as well, though I think Max was missing from it, also had a few shining game spin offs that looked interesting, and a lot of games that are already on MS too like Fantasy Zone could also be brought to DSI VC.
Talking about other Handheld systems, it would be cool to see NeoGeo Pocket games as DLC, apprantly SNK Vs Capcom Fight of the Millenium is the best handheld fighter you can get.
If this was to happen, do you think there's a chance of them releasing new "Classic NES Series" games? I mean, it wouldn't be too hard, would it?
In that case, why not just release it as normal Virtual Console release, but for the DSi. Thing is though I didn't really like the GBA NES classic series that much, mainly because of the stretched and squashed screen. It wasn't Pixel perfect for me.
I thought about that, but something tells me that the service will either stick to handhelds or it won't, and I don't see Nintendo rereleasing all of these games.
If NES is on the DSi Virtual Console, PLEASE include all of the already released games and keep it in sync with the Wii's Virtual Console.

That's what I'm thinking, if nintendo does Virtual Console for DSi, I bet it'll just be HandHeld consoles rather than TV consoles.
This is what I'm expecting from DSi Virtual Console...
-GameBoy (Original, and enhanced SGB games) -GameBoy Color -GameGear -NeoGeo Color
What I think will come out later...
-Wonder Swan -GBA -GP32 -GP2X (Oh yeah, gotta have Cave Story on the DSi!)
i expect to see the following games come out for virtual console dsi: -Pokemon red, blue, yellow, gold, silver and crystal -Links awakening DX -Gameboy Camera, since the dsi has a built in camera this could work -Mario Golf GB -Game and watch gallery 2 and 3 -Kirbys dreamland 1 and 2 -Legend of zelda:oracle of time and oracle of seasons -Pokemon Pinball -Metroid II:Return of samus -Super Mario Land games -Wario Land Games
"-Gameboy Camera, since the dsi has a built in camera this could work"
I'd love Game Boy Camera, but I don't think Nintendo would release it via the Virtual Console when we already have photo editing.
A cool feature would be the ability to take photos from Game Boy Camera and send them to the DSi Photo Channel or even the Wii Photo Channel, like what Pokémon Snap did.
Good idea, but then again why not just release individual ame and Watch games onto the DSi Virtual Console. In a sales man's view, sale them individually would make more money than compilations. That's why you don't see Super Mario All Stars on the Virtual Console, because they know they can sell them to you invidually and make more money out of it.
Since you mention it. They should also include Game&Watch games on the DSi too. Hopefully at the 200 points price, though this might reduce the value of current Game&Watch games you can get on eBay...
Pokemon Blue, Yellow and Silver. Maybe Crystal. I just want to replace my old cartridges, some of which have dead batteries! Link's Awakening DX, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. Maybe add a feature to LADX to "print" the photos to the DSi's picture gallery for novelty's sake? I once borrowed a game called "Gargoyle's Quest" I think, Id love to have that again. The four Final Fantasy game boy games, and the Dragon Quest ones too. Pretty much any other RPG that was on the Game Boy
